While I wouldn't quite word it like that, I suppose in a sense it does reflect my own thoughts. I would word it more like... "I know my own desires and my own needs. I have very particular tastes when it comes to women. I do not expect perfection, but then I also do not view any human being as being perfect. I merely hope for that which I crave and it just so happens to be someone that is soft, curvy, healthy, and very, very, very undyingly devoted to being my dream come true." If said woman was close to what I desire, or even surpassed it somehow, I would be more than willing to overlook certain flaws...even rather jarring flaws like extreme clumsiness (which is adorable) and/or even various psychological issues. I wouldn't even care if she were missing an eye or a toe or were blind or something of that nature. She could even have scars and it wouldn't detract from her beauty. I'm not repelled by such things. The visual examples I posted were merely examples of my preferences nothing more. What matters to me most is the whole package, rather than one detail alone. Of course any woman interested in me should know up front that I have a lot of emotional scars.

Dante - there are an awful lot of really nice people here on the boards. Treat them the way you would wish to be treated, and you will find all the support and friendship you could need on this site [:)] There are also a lot of people on here with a hell of a lot of emotional scars. You don't get to my advanced(!) age without a fair number of scars. But what you will find is that in a time of great need, these guys could well be here to support you, as they did me. Your last post showed a great deal more positivity than the others - you're moving onto the right track. Try to make your potential partner feel blessed to be with you, not burdened. I wish you luck with your quest [:D]

I'm very particular. It's good to be honest. If I lied like most people do, I'd be the same kind of asshole as them. I far prefer to be my kind of asshole...the honest kind. Of course, most people that know me in real life don't consider me to be an asshole since they know quite a bit about me. Not everything is always as it seems, nor is your perspective of me based on a tiny little profile going to be entirely accurate. I'm not after a supermodel, I want someone that I happen to find attractive. And at the risk of sounding pretentious, I'd like to note that in my experience, people that knock on people for having high standards, are generally unattractive or jealous of the way others look. I'm quite ordinary looking myself, but I'm comfortable enough in my skin to not criticize someone for having particular preferences when it comes to sexual partners.

It says that while you demand a certain preconceived level of physical beauty and perfection you are also fully aware of your own slight flaws and faults. It makes you sound almost humany. I like it!!! Sometimes I have chosen to walk a similar path when trying to court the little CM'ers.
