Status: offline 		I'm still surviving in Michigan. The job isn't going all that great, mainly because my boss is one of those people who feels someone must be an enemy and has chosen me during my probation period (which ends this month). Got the "I don't think you're working out" meeting yesterday, even though EVERYONE else says I've made the section finally work right and a lot more enjoyable to exist in. I do mean everyone (including the boss up until the enemy phase started...this is a normal thing with this person, from my understanding, which I didn't know before taking this position).

So, starting to try to figure out how to start moving towards freelance work because I really don't want to rely on anyone else anymore for survival.

Status: offline 		three beautiful, healthy, nursing puppies born this afternoon. First one happened a little after 12, the next at about 12:45, then the third around 1:30, I think. 2 little girls and a little boy. *sigh* I love puppies.

Status: offline 		Bah. I'm trying to stay off of the boards, but this place is like vomit that the dog can't resist returning to, but mostly because some of the more obnoxious people seem to have left the mistress forum, me included <insert circular logic here>.

I continue to pack for my move back to England, and I leave the beginning of May. There is a vast right-wing consipiracy to ensure that whatever I own will not fit into the boxes I have collected. Outside of that, I find that I have just about everything I want out of life.

Status: offline 		Oh good luck Venatrix and yeah, when we were packing, I found the same thing with the boxes! And it gets worse the more you have packed because there's fewer options of what might fill that odd-shaped space that's left in each box! Good luck with the move.

Awwww puppies! Karen, can you post a pic? I go all gooey with puppies LOL! A few weeks back Master and I popped into a shopping centre for one thing and just had to look at the pet shop. omg, 3 adorable westie pups!! Rarely seen here! As westies are our favourite dog ... and we only have one now Teddy died a year ago ... it was just SO hard to walk away. Master's logic was totally right ... in a mobile home, toilet-training a pup would be difficult ... My 21yo cat would be pissed (she seems determined to outlive all the dogs ... 3 down, 1 to go and Magic's turning 12 this May LOL!) ... to say nothing of the $750 ... but oh, I was aching to hold a puppy again! Teddy was My dog, Magic is definitely Daddy's girl ... sorry to say I moped the rest of the day LOL! Definitely a case where the heart wanted to over-rule the head!

Good luck to those who have been dealing with job issues too.

Here, we are continuing to travel round the country, with only a small delay waiting on a small part for the Chev. Was in a beautiful valley though so no great hardship! Doing lots of heavy-duty sightseeing which has been good, though I have a zillion photos to scrap! Just got to finish the ones from Nov-Dec when we had a little holiday and visited a few areas, and now I have way more again to do. Also working (though not enough!) on the PhD, planning April in Perth working on it intensively though, especially as I am collecting more data at a remote school on the way there next week. Was supposed to meet up with a sub in one place about a month ago, but he wimped out at the last minute, yeah, no surprise there! Hopefully they won't ALL do that!

Status: offline 		LOL, they are mostly just little squiggly bits of fluff at this point. The boy, we aren't sure what color he is going to be - either black or dark brown - and he has white tips like his mama (toes, tip of tail, nose, and a bit on his chest). The first girl is most likely going to be a little clone of mama - black with white tips. The second girl is either a brown and white or a black and white. Right now, I'd vote black, but we thought that Alchemy was going to be a liver and white, and she faded out to a blue and white.

Status: offline 		LadyH, I was thinking of you just yesterday.  It's good to see you alive and well during your busy season.

As for Me, things are going well here.  Still working on catching clip up on all of the play time that he missed during his deployment.  No worries about it though.  I'm quite dedicated to the cause.  LOL.

Some of you may remember Me mentioning on roll calls past that MP had shoulder surgery a few months back.  Unfortunately, it either isn't healing the way it should have or there is some other issue because he is still in quite a bit of pain.  He's had the very same procedure done in the past and he was in a much better condition when it was done before.  They may have to attempt to do another repair or fix whatever isn't right.

The first step in the upcoming transfer to Hawaii finally happened.  All four of the cats had their trip to the vet for shots and for their computer chip, which are required for them to come with us.  The six month countdown has begun officially.  Until, of course, Mistress Military changes her mind again to move the date around.  That's only happened three times already.  LOL.

Status: offline 		march begins with a new man and plans to move back into my old apartment. my sister's graduating college in a few months so there will be no more last minute calls in which she only needs a few hundred bucks for rent by tomorrow or else life as she knows it will end. i need to be writing but i have mostly been blogging. march can't end soon enough since april will bring a trip back to CA, a florence + the machine show, and one-on-one with my best friend.

Status: offline 		Lets see. March, new apartment and new pets. We have 2 rats now, along with the bunny. We also have a much bigger apartment (for less rent... wooo) and we are just about finished unpacking and settling in on that. We are getting enough money back from taxes to have some decent savings put away and life in general is looking up. 5 month wedding anniversary this month as well.

I'm still around. Recently left an 8 year relationship that relocated me to Michigan six years ago, now questioning my sanity for THAT but trying to focus on the move being positive in other areas. I've discovered that I've lost myself somewhere along the way and I'm actually looking forward to finding "me" again. Time to focus on my marriage, family and getting my head out of my ass.

Definately looking forward to spring and warm weather for long drives with the top down!! Plotting a long much needed vacation that will take me to 5 states over 2 weeks. My car will finally cruise the overseas highway!!!


UGH @ Vanilla cone. "new name" means starting THAT over as well. Ugh ugh ugh!!!!!!

Status: offline 		I'm here...trying to avoid a persistant stalker who has managed to find an account I have on another site along with this one.  

Things are busy and I'm coming to the realization that I want less chaos and more peace as far as work goes.  Time for some much needed changes.

I'm enjoying my single state for now...no rush in that department. 

I still enjoy having a look at these role call threads just to see what others are up to.
