No Child Left Behind, DHS, TSA, personal involvement in the Terry Schiavo case.  Need any more examples?

Then why have they always done the opposite? Can you please tell me when the last time they ever cut government? How do you reconcile this with all the military spending they always want to institute and with their desire to regulate abortion and drugs.
