http://www.latimes.com/news/nation-and-world/la-na-pentagon-shooting5-2010mar05,0,7981803.story Reporting from Washington - An armed man apparently planning to enter the Pentagon walked up to police officers guarding the doors of the massive building and opened fire Thursday evening, wounding two officers before being shot himself. The gunfight took place just yards from the entrance to the giant defense installation as workers were still heading home for the evening, police said. Workers were ordered back to their offices and the building was locked down for a time, with no one allowed in or out.

Some of you guys are disturbingly close to the mark, apparently. CBS news is now reporting that the gunman is a 9/11 conspiracy lunatic with a long history of ranting about 9/11 on the internet. They say he was well-educated, though, so evidently he was a lot brighter than RealOne. Same brand of insane, however. Just not as stupid.
