Status: offline 		I have done quite a lot in the past. I have joined political parties and voted for leaders. I have been a voting delegate at leadership conventions. I participated at the conventions debating and voting on party policy.  Of course I worked in election campaigns  knocking on doors and handing out pamphlets.

When I was a young conservative I attended CPAC. I can't believe I used to be a conservative and how brainwashed with right-wing ideology I used to be.

Status: offline 		He is exactly right and tells the truth. Prove it that Michael Moore is a liar. Prove it, you can't, you won't find anything.  You guys are just trying to discredit him to protect your corporate friends.

Neither of them have their act together. If you're just following the crap spewed by people you see on TV, you're already lost.

It is not that Moore is a hypocrite but rather that you are ignorant of the difference between capitalism and free enterprise.
Should you ever tumble to the difference then you will understand how ill informed your posts are

Moore moved from New York to Traverse City Michigan.  The conservatives started on him and he gave back better than they could deal out.  Then, they realized something.  Moore was rebuilding the arts and threat re infra structure in Traverse City.  He was also paying for civic improvements.  They also found out that for the most part he is like Buffet, very thoughtful about using his wealth to aid the community.  Also he doesn't usually sound off unless provoked by stupidity.  Some of those praising him the most right now are the conservatives.

Not really. I'm more finding his approach deeply lacking as contrasted with Mark Thomas. Some have even gone as far as to say Moore's habit of including complete and utter bullshit in his films is doing the left more harm than good. Certainly Farenheit 911 didn't bother the GOP any in 2006, did it?

Look, there's brainwashing on both sides.  A lot of what you post is passionate, but not constructive nor always truthful.  And being conservative isn't evil.  Republicans are not 100% corrupt.  Not every insurance company is out to fuck you.  Not every bank is looking fuck you.  Just like not every social program is going to make people all a bunch of lazy sponges.

There is not one single thing under the sun that cannot be misused, abused, exploited, or corrupted. 

Once we deal with the misuse, abuse, corruption and exploitation then we are on the right path, in my opinion reagdless of whether that happens on the right or the left.
