heck, do you have any idea how long night shifts actually are without such a board? They are double if not even triple as long *grin*.

Also sometimes I read them on my long bus or train journeys and sometimes reply per phone...

on rare occations I really enjoy given wisdom, such as from Stella or Lady E....and on other occations I can't be bothered and just dont touch it at all [:)]

Like Lady Ellen I have a pretty addictive personality.

It also helps that the boards are most active in the middle of the night (for me, anyway...) which is when I am most bothered by my lifelong insomnia.

You guys have replaced three-figure multiplication and reciting prime numbers in my head as my alternative to sleeping.

In general, I enjoy online forums and participate in a variety of them as time permits.

In specific, the CM forums attract my attention for the same reason I cannot look away from a massive auto accident.

Humor, wit, beauty, horror, all are to be found here in abundance, and I can participate (or not) in the manner and amount that I desire. Hard to replicate that in the real world, but I keep trying.

I don't really have a reason. A few yrs ago when I first came onto this site, I enjoyed the bdsm topics and I think some of that became helpful to me on some level back in those days.

Now, I don't really come around much, and when I do it's when I have some time on my hands, and to see if there's a subject that interests me...sort of the way I might thumb through a magazine or something.
