What a mess over there now, and those greedy American banks have made everything worse.  I’m Greek and I have a house over there, most of these people don't understand what's going on.  They just want to pay their bills and get by every day.

Somebody asked me what I'm doing about it/ this on another thread. The fact is I'm sick with multiple sclerosis now and I can't get involved like I did before.  I used to be a conservative during the Reagan/Mulroney days, and I used to go to conventions like CPAC and political party conventions.   I used to get involved in making policy and was a delegate electing the leader at leadership conventions and I worked in elections but I can't do this stuff anymore.

I can't believe I used to work my ass off electing conservatives and now that I have evolved into a better human being as a progressive I'm too sick to participate. Sad

In the future I know I'm going to get better with medical advances so it's like that Frank Sinatra song goes, “the best is yet to come.”

What a pain in the ass it's going to be to convert all these staunch conservatives into progressives. Ugh

Well, Brian, I suppose as long as you can breathe and type, you can still be / get involved...even if it is from the sidelines. On another note, glad I was out of country for the Mulroney years. lol

Heres to hoping your fellow Greeks are safe n sound.

*cheers

I'm curious - what about your views has changed in your evolution to being a better human? What exactly makes conservatives poorer humans than progressives?

I'm not trying to start a war or a flame fest, I'm just honestly curious.
