Maybe because some of us don't do command performances from stranger's. Most who im me are strangers and their profile shows me I wouldn't want to talk to them even if I were the chatting type, which I am not. If I am going to give my time to someone, it is someone I know, someone who has actually read my profile and someone that isn't trying to get some cam on cam or kinky sexual chat on the fly-by. Someone who really wants to get to know me will read my profile and email me. Someone who wants a lil cyber action typically im's.
