Sinergy, I have often wondered what this land would have been like now, without the arrogant invaders touch. An entire continent protected by a race that did not believe in "owning" land. And more importantly believing they were there to protect what nature had provided. I was talking to some co-workers about my Indian heritage not long ago, not even really thinking about it. Just commented that due to my American Indian genes that I would be watching for arthritis more closely. One of them burst out, who cares what your ancestors were? We are all Americans and should forget about that stuff. I wonder how many people feel that way? Myself I veiw the world with the philosophy of you are the product of your gene pool and environment, no better or worse than the next guy. But what you make of that mix sets the tone of your life.
