New labour communist stooges working to promote the EEC's interests?
What country does whichever idiot wrote this bilge come from? Blair's naked hostility to Europe seems to have escaped their notice...

Very true. I think that was deliberately omitted rather than just ignored, though. I mean Heath wasn't even named but there's all that crap about Wilson?

Because expansion, at any price, is unworkable. Northern Gent summed it up recently regards the UK, France and Germany having seperate agendas. We now have the unacceptable situation of the worlds highest paid female politician being unelected. Thats the EU for you, the people running it couldnt give a toss at equality for the working classes.

It did name him but as you say it seems to be mainly about a 'conspiracy' started twenty years later after the evil roots were planted by Wilson.

Takes a long time to get these conspiracies up and running, the enlightened ones were twiddling their thumbs for twenty years. Why the focus on labour anyway, I mean if Heath was in on it then the same would have happened under a conservative government.

Edit: capitalisation of names.

Probably France and Germany have the same agenda but I'm a paranoid Brit.

I agree to a certain extent Politesub especially as we see direct representation of the people being more and more diluted by distance and larger constituencies being represented by less people. We need to get back to the positive aspects of it and focus on those. We shouldn't however be throwing out the baby with the bathwater.

Like Communism and Socialism, at least what has passed before, those that run them end up behaving like the very aristocracy they claim to despise. The double standards of several current MPs ( all parties ) are breathtaking in the extreme. If there was a system that was actually fair, and driven by social needs and not class warfare, it would get my vote.

What a pile of paranoid, scare mongering bilge I found on clicking that link. It was nothing more than propaganda straight from the Goebbels school of information management - emotional phrasing, allegation and accusation designed specifically to generate fear and hate, and utterly lacking in any real substance not to say evidence to support its libelous suggestions.

Is the EU perfect? Far from it. Is the commission democratic? Not really. Is the Parliament worthwhile? No. Is the EU run according to an agenda determined by the Franco-German axis? Well, obviously. Is it a mechanism by which to enslave Europeans and serve them up to the NWO? Dont make me laugh.

Instead of giving credence to any of this bullshit, which comes incidentally with its own not too concealed agenda, it might be a good thing to work towards uniting the people of the EU - the majority of whom in every country see the problems - in sorting the EU out once and for all so that it works more satisfactorily for our benefit. But then that might just involve talking to "damned foreigners" and making the effort to learn a language other than English I suppose - both unacceptable to most here.
