things that you love wholly or mostly because they are hideous and damn near unlovable?

i get enchanted like this all the time, currently by a pair of adult size footie pajamas. cheap navy blue fleece, faded looking moon and stars print, so big that i could probably fit a Laker girl in here with me. surely would have ended a friendship if i'd received this ugly jumper as a gift. but my aunt dug them out of a box of random shit that she buys on sale, and it was love at first sight! very tempted to ebay some of those ass flap long-johns.

Loads of things!  i've got a pea-green, deep-pile fuzzy coat that makes me look like a slightly plump Muppet.  Never fails to get a "That's an eyesore" comment whenever i wear it.  Makes me giggle every time. i love it because of it's ridiculousness. Also love the architecture of eyesore excessive freeway on and off-ramps crowded together, ugly looking donuts, stupid holiday-themed socks and industrial areas.  Not a big fan of ugly sweaters that are popular these days with the hipsters though.  Although i do admire the woman who started her own gem sweater traveling museum.

I got a matching set of blue fleece, drop seat footy jammies for Mercnbeth for Christmas. Fortunately, they still lubs me. [:D]

ETA- forgot to answer the OP's question. Oh yeah! From my neon pink, green, and yellow sneakers to picking out the plainest, most unlovable-looking crested gecko in the pet store to bring home with me. [:)]
