Yhe geater scheme. , why do we have tp prove to society ,we live OUR LIFE, when will the animosity end. We are the alternite thinkers, we FEEL...and that is sets us apart, as ART IN MOTION. Some need to live thier lifesyle in secret, for those souls who must present themselves are societical 'norms'[. There is strength in numbers....fight for YOUR right to be an individual....wear collars in public, Masters/Doms, take Your crop to work, leave it in a conspicious place. Sadly, for some/manytoo many, our lifesyle must remain in secretcy. Have we no voice in numbers. Calling on all pawns, clear the way...unless we unite,we are destined to hide...come venture out into the mainsteam, we outnumber them, we have no shame. We are concenting adults. Pay our taxes to the govt. We are the strongest of homeo Sapians, as we aknowledge what society deems unsavoury. I am but a simple artist, I try to create that which is denied, inner feelings, be it BDSM, be it mayhem.We have a basic human right to FEEL DIFFERENTY. How say you?...

Under no circumstances do i feel the need to fight for my rights as an individual. I CAN wear a collar in public, or leave a riding crop on my desk. The fact is, i refuse to impose my kink on others.

What complete and utter bollocks.. Try moving your butt around in a wheelchair for a week and you'll soon learn what it feels like to be stigmatized. I think there's a lot of people out there more focussed on bigger issues like making ends meet, getting proper access to health care facilities, finding a job, trying to stay in a job than making a public demonstration of kinky desires. Just because you feel you have to live your life in secret because you're kinky doesn't mean to say that everyone else feels the same. Sorry, no biscuit here.

Personally I don't want to come out into the mainstream. What I do in my bedroom is my business and my partner's. I don't want to be pegged as being 'something', I just want to be viewed on the basis of my own merits as a person, not a symbol. I don't want to be a signpost for something. I don't feel repressed or downtrodden. I'm a happy woman who likes herself and where she is in life. I don't need to put on a show or push someone else's face into my personal business. On the other hand I wouldn't lie about it so if asked about my involvement in D/s I would answer truthfully. I am not ashamed, just not wanting to broadcast a personal preference. The general public doesn't need to know what I had for dinner, what style underwear i have on, what my burial preference is or what my view is on racial stereotyping. If any of this comes up as conversation and I choose to impart that knowledge then fine....but I'm not going to walk around with a sign around my neck saying "Chicken Fettucini and Asparagus....and please Cremate me if I should die today". Goodness knows I'd run into a vegetarian who would lambast me for my choice of dinner and perhaps someone who was against or for cremation. I"m not looking to take up conversation on the pros or cons of either of them along with what I do in my relationship with my partner.
