No matter what variation the Chinook has always mainly been a heavy lifter. When used to move troops it carried a large number and their gear. It was never used to insert any "teams" into a hostile zone. Why would you be wanting dropped in a target that big? And you don't know what the fuck you are talking about...on TAC E's (emergency), the closest aircraft were called in....we primarily supported artillery units, but that kept us out west along the Laotian border and sniper teams were always deployed along trails and obvious ingrss/egress routes for the enemy to mortar the firebases..... if you havn't been there you don't know shit...just like a big mouth lib to run his stupid mouth about what he does not know..... stuff it bigmouth....

If you dad was a Huey driver, that's fine.... but the UH-1 guys usually didn't do all that hot in flight school and they ended up with the assualt companies....on the other hand if you excelled, you were upgraded to go to mult-engine class which was a much more difficult acadmic and skill environment and only those that were second or third tour guys, or guys that made the Commandant's List were offered mult engine right out of flight school...my dad was a B-29 pilot in WW-2, and taught me to fly when I was very young....I was running up Pratt and Whitney R-2800 engines as an 11 year old as the line chiefs all knew my dad..... and the guys I have as my drinking buddies here are old fast mover jocks from my time..... The guys I admire are the 'Thud' drivers that flew the big low flying lead sleds out of Thailand up thru Gorrila's head onto Thud Ridge and ingressed into Route Pac 6 (downtown)....most of the prisnors in the Hanoi Hilton were Thud drivers and not many of them remain.... those are the guys that I buy a drink for.... not underachievers that lanquished flying 'ash and trash' as most assualt drivers did daily.... and by the way....my hometown is the home of the 333rd Tacital Fighter Wing with the F-15 Stike Eagles.... they go over my house every morning heading out to practice air to air with the F-15's from Tyndall over at Panama City.....I live amongst the best pilots in the war, and they too despise the chicken shit socialist that are among us..... just so you know the real world of the military pilot....not too many democrats find their way into these squadrons...they are weeded out early on....and rightfully so....

Darlin, Pelosi and Obama are doing just fine in destroying your little socialist mecca....if you want those 'freebies' why you will just have to get out of bed and go work for them as the rest of us did...... BTW, the AMA conducted a poll only to find over 45% of doctors say they will leave practice if this Obama shit is crammed thru by some 'rule' concocted by the demopukes in congress.... so maybe you will have 'healthcare' only to stand in lines that will be around the block to see some 'government' doc who does not give a shit about you, or does not care.... The truth is a tough thing to swallow somtimes, but the dems are not passing this thing, and if done by trick it most likely will sticken down by the Supreme Court as some 9 states have already began filing constitutional challenges that will render it stillborn....and can't wait till these liberal congressional pukes get home to have their constituients burn their stupid ass's alive in the 'town halls' to come...its going to be fun to watch them get boiled in oil by the furious voters....Already many many congressional districts are beginning immediate 'recall' petitions to throw their asses into the street before their term ends.... just going to enjoy watching these turds get fried between now and November, and then voted out of office in a landslide that will make Obama's Chicago thugs dizzy with a big ole dose of political reality....they have it coming in spades....

If you are asking me, I flew B models....as most of the Chinook aircraft in country at my time 70-71, were either B's or A's although we refferred to them as the 'little C's' as we had the Avco Lycoming T-55 L9 vairents, instead of the usual L7's in the earlier A's and B's.... The C's were coming into usage down south, but C's and the L11 engine were experiencing compressor stalls due to malfunctioning bleed bands due to surge....and two C's from 'Big Windy' slung rotor blades and killed all aboard...the C's were not produced in numbers anywhere close to the B's and now the D's and E's rule...much bigger engines and fiberglass blades that do not erode as quickly in rain squalls or dust...... as to the Thuds, they lived in Thailand, and ingressed downtown...... with much better O clubs and round eye women....not bad, but their missions truely sucked.....

Once again you know not what you are talking about....to cut the mustard in reaching flying the tatcial jet fighter squadrens, you have to demonstrate you complete and total commitment to the nation, the mission, and the willingness to kill to make it, and evidence of liberals that are willing to do that are rare if non existant.... they are weeded out for their attitudes....and I for one have never met a democrat that was a fighter pilot....they just don't exist.... You have to be of a 'wolf' metality...and democrats just don't have that in their makeup.... but they do make good hospital orderlys and nurses....oh, and food service...I forgot....
