Rather than just reporting a profile? Background story : I wouldn't submit to a dom, he coerces a number out of me with a fake sub profile (temporary lapse of judgement on my part there) and he keeps sending messages telling me to come to heel. I may be young, but I've been taught well by my elders, I know that being a dom/me is about integrity and honor and respect for both dom/mes and subs alike, and I'm finding it difficult to believe that somebody 22 years my senior hasn't realised this. He's been talking to me like I'm a dog quite frankly and for the most part I've been ignoring it but it's getting a little irksome, and now to top it all off, he's posted my number on a fake domme profile, I've reported it til I'm blue in the face but to no avail. He's 42 - and so butthurt I wouldn't submit he goes and does something like that? Really it's like telling a lesbian to give you a blowjob - not going to happen. So creepy. So enough rambling - I'll get to the point - how can I talk to some human administration round here? I'm going to be visiting family tonight and I really don't want the calls persisting while I'm around them. Fact of the matter is I shouldnt have to change my number or keep my phone switched off, so please dont suggest it.

Click the "Support" button at the bottom of the personals side of the site. Send them an email. That will get you in touch with a person. They can sort out the journal stuff. Regarding the phone calls, if this were Match.com, what would you expect Match to do if you gave someone your phone number and he was calling you? Seriously. How can any website make some guy stop being a jackass on the phone? I suggest ignore the crap out of him. Send all your calls to voicemail for two weeks, and check voicemail every 20 minutes or so, so you can get back to friends quickly. Once the next shiny object comes along, he'll get bored.

You fail to understand me. He posted my fucking number on a FAKE profile and I'm getting calls from all sorts of people. Sick sick sick of this!

Red is right, CM isn't going to go to his house and yell at him. But, I would change my number, if it's too bothersome. I know you don't want to do that, but I don't want to pay taxes, shit happens.

Have you already written Support about this? Clicked the liink near "Terms of Service" at the bottom of the personals page that is marked "Support"? What do you think cybershouting at me is going to do to change this? Even if I knew who this guy was, I couldn't change his journal entry. No one else on this side of the site has any power to help you either. We're regular peeps having conversations. If you post on this thread again before writing Support, I will conclude that you would rather bitch about problems than solve them.

I have written to support, but it seems everybody is the same here. 'Cybershouting' I don't know where you got that one from...I'm pretty sure in my situation anyone else would be reacting in the same way.

Perhaps an investigation into both profiles - the dom I spoke about, and the fake profile. Since the fake was created in 2008, I'm beginning to believe he's been using it to blackmail women for some time.

You have had a hard life lesson and you must deal with the consequences of your actions. No one but you can get you out of this. Change your phone number, take down your profile and put up another, tell sane people your in touch with what your changing it to, do not put a picture on your new profile unless you want it photoshopped on another body somewhere by a crazy person that's mad at you and NEVER allow another person to have any personal information about you until you know them better. You can also grow up a bit. Your Ma Ma (collarme) is not coming and making it all better.

Maybe I'm being a bit slow this afternoon... You were taught all this good stuff about how Doms should be, but not how to be ultra cautious when giving contact details out? You are unable to hit "cancel" when someone you don't recognise calls your cell phone? Or you can't use voicemail? What's the timescale here? Have you given the site admins reasonable time to investigate, corroborate and take action on your complaint, or were you expecting an immediate takedown? You've done all you can for now. What you're left with is the consequences of your own lapses of judgement. The good thing is you'll be more cautious and won't be so easily predated next time.
