On That 70's Show, Eric ask Red "why can't I drive the car," to which Red responds "because I want to get there in one piece, Dumbass."

On American Idol during the pre season screening process, they had a Clay Aiken wannabe try out. He wasn't bad, but he did everything possible to look like Clay Aiken. Towards the end of the season, they invited him back on to perform even though he didn't make it to Hollywood. He was doing his best Clay Aiken impression on the big stage when they turned his mic off and the real Clay Aiken began singing his own song, and walked out on stage from behind him. The response from this Clay Aiken fanatic was hilarious.

Sadly, there aren't all that many wildy hysterical moments on TV any more. I blame Janet Jackson.
But for me, the funniest thing I've seen in a long time was the "Miss Ellen" episode of South Park. All the boys fell in love with their substitute teacher, Miss Ellen. When they learned she was a lesbian (someone who only likes other lesbians) they decided that they needed to become lesbians.

Stan - to Eric, who is on his hand & knees: "What are you doing?"
Eric: "My mom said if I want to be a lesbian I have to learn to lick carpet."

I laughed so hard that I literally fell off the sofa.

I don't watch much of the local news anymore - same story, different day. But when I do they rarely let me down with their mis-cues: the anchor looking into the wrong camera; a mic not being turned on; the weather guy having to report from the middle of a horrendous blizzard. And with the trend to have the on-air crew in front of a window that faces a busy street you can almost always count on seeing someone in the crowd that the director wishes weren't there. Back around x-mas time there was a Santa-themed pub-crawl in Chicago. A dozen drunk Santas showed up in from of the WLS-7 news studio window just as the brodcast was starting. Rom Majors started laughing so much they had to cut to commercial. When they returned, the blinds were down on those windows. I keep hoping to see someone plant a big, wet one on the next reporter standing in front of some building where absolutely nothing is happening. It could happen :D

Dunno Man. Simpsons, I saw it on the TV and I have it on file (albeit in poor resolution) the lie detector test.

Testguy : This machine is going to measure your physiological responses as you answer questions, do you understand ? (something like that).

Homer : Yes

At that point the polygraph blew to bits. This has now been used in a cable TV commercial and they didn't do it anywhere as well and weren't new and fresh to say the least. the first time I saw the original Simpsons version I was LITERALLY ROFL.

I think the simpsons, family guy, and southpark are probably the funniest things on tv now, with American dad and the cleveland show pulling up the rear. Who would have thought modernizing cartoons would be so successful???

I wanted to keep this all tv, but there are so many hysterical movie moments as well that end up on tv. The Austin Powers scene where Tom Arnold, and Austin are in the bathroom was one of my all time favorites. It had me laughing so hard I was actually hysterical. I was laughing almost as hard the second time i saw it.

They were both in their respective stalls when the bad guy reached down through the air vent to strangle Austin with a chain. Austin put up quite a struggle moaning and groaning, and even stomping his feet occasionally, and the whole time Tom Arnold was telling him "That's it, show that turd who's boss," along with some other hilarious comments. At the end of the struggle Tom said "how about a courtesy flush fellow."

I guess you have to be a man to appreciate that one.

At the end of "my Name is Earl," which included numerous turtle scenes, a full screen talking turtle appeared and said " Relax, no turtles were hurt during the filming of this episode. So please, don't send any letters, crackpots.

Moe: No.

Moe: All right, maybe I did. But I didn't shoot him.

Eddie: Checks out. Okay, sir. You're free to go.
Moe: Good, 'cause I got a hot date tonight.
[buzz]
Moe: A date.

Most recently 'Better Off Ted', with the cowless meat episode in particular:
The company's taste tester is forced to try it, and is asked what it tastes like: chicken? [hopefully] beef?
Pause. 'Despair?'
Brilliant!!
