perfectflaw00 -> what to include in profile? (3/14/2010 3:00:41 PM)

Just joined cm last week and although I do have a brief and to the point description in my profile I was wondering what if any additional info should be included. I choose not to include any of my bdsm interests as I thought that would scream of being self serving. Any advice is very much appreciated.

Please read the Frequently Asked Questions thread.  You will find a very good section on this very subject.

I personally think that is a good approach.

As for writing a profile, you can use regular dating advice for this: http://www.singleguyadvisor.com/online-dating-advice.html

Pretty good profile.

Paragraphs ought to be your best friends, hon-they increase readability and give your writing structure. Whack some more paragraphing in, correct the couple of dropped capitals you've missed, and you'll be laughing!

FYI - Nice photo.  That's a good start.  My suggestion to others reading this is "CLEAN UP YOUR ROOM!"  I'm surprised by how many people - male, female, sub, Dom & switch - get so concerned about how they look in their photos that they ignore the back ground.  I always look at the environment.  I don't want a 'service sub' who is standing in a messy room.  I can't imagine that a sub would want a Domme who doesn't have SHEETS on her bed.  Just odd things that I notice.

---- And FYI  - My photo was taken in a home Library.  Not MY library, but a friend's library.  I wanted a subtle clue that I enjoy educated, or at least well read / well rounded people.

Thanks everyone for the advice, I can certainly see what you are saying about the whole room in the picture and about the paragraphs.
