Any such prosecution would be seen as politically motivated and would tear this country farther apart....just imagine the rancor and divisiveness evident here during an election cycle.Magnify to the nth power and you answer your own question

Sadly, this assessment of the situation is spot-on.

I don't think it is. The people are very well able to distinguish between politically-motivated prosecutions over a stained dress, and a valid case.

Another consideration: not prosecuting him also has international repercussions for American servicemen. It allows any country in the world to arrest and try American soldiers as war criminals on the basis that the USA refuses to prosecute war crimes in their own courts.

Oh please...lol.

So the Democrats...who are defoliating ...with an agenda the country has said repeatedly it does not want (save for those who could benefit from suckling at the national tit .... ) ...with a President who is now as lame a duck as has ever held office....and will be even MORE lame by the next election...are STILL trying to mask their own massive failure and collective lack of intellect by trying to essentially run against Bush yet again. It is scary to think that morons of this magnitude are at the helm of the nation. Here they are.....assuming as liberals always do....that people are basically lemmings and can be led because after all, they need to be saved from themselves and therefore need to be "herded"...and thus will buy into anything they are told.

Apparently.....somehow the Scott Brown win in MA and the other "messages" being sent by the electorate are falling on deaf ...no...stupid....ears.

It would take a wholly mindless idiot to not see the political motivation in this and the utter stupidity of it. I think that if this course is pursued, the one benefit of it may be that after the 2012 election, there will not be a single Democrat in Congress in either house or in any high political office in the country....well...maybe a few in California.

Global warming has been proven to be an utter farce created by bogus scientists who operated under the mantra "If the facts disprove your theory, they must be disposed-of"

The health care bill is headed to the trash can where it belongs - or - to a politically-directed bypassing of the people's will through political chicanery.

What next? A Democratic push to get millions of illegal (criminal) aliens signed up as citizen minions to try and save the Democrats from the political massacre coming in this years elections?

The one who needs to be tried is the one in office now. My sense is that the investigation of him and Pelosi and Reid will make Nixon's abuse of  the office, as awful as it was.... look like the work of a rank amateur.

Here is something ALL politicians.....of ALL parties...need to hear. (Oh yes...there are Republicans who could easily qualify for a Bozo Award) ........We the voters....are really sick of the whole bunch of you.

I believe a quote from the Hulkster is in order:

:Amen Brutha!!!"

If only this were true.

From my observations, the majority still gleefully play in the right vs. left paradigm box.

Good grief, this thread is another stupid liberal masturbation piece....If this lame ass administration even so much as tried to do something along those lines, in light of his collapse in the public opinion polls, I ASSURE YOU that he would be impeached...and failing that assasinated.... this administration, nor the justice department has the balls, or the evidence to even come close to touching this with a 60 foot pole.... This lame ass president had better worry about just finishing his do nothing term and getting the fuck out of town alive himself..... Bush did NOT do wrong and NO EVIDENCE of any wrong doing is there to find....there is not now, nor ever will be anything to proscecute.... deal with it.....

Exactly. This thread is yet another treasonous left-wing liberal/progressive anti-Bush rant...yet another lame attempt to obfuscate the complete, total and utter failure of Barack Hussein Obama, aka Barry Soetoro, in the eyes of an ever-increasing majority of "We the people..." Truth hurts. Deal with it.
Lets recap here....you,by dint of saying "Exactly" applaud a post in which Cucky once again mentions assasinating your legally elected Commander-in-Chief....and than go off on a rant in which you accuse others of engaging in "treasonous" activities for having the gumption to discuss the prospect of legal proceedings to determine possible criminal acts commited by the previous administration?
Does that about sum up your position RacerJim?
If the answer to that is yes that quite frankly you are just as screwed up as good ol' cucky...and that guy is crazy as bat-shit!

Wasn't "waging aggressive war" one of the charges at Nuremburg?

That seems likely to me...

I don't recall Hitler having the benefit of countless UN resolutions that for all practical purposes tied the second conflict to the first. So it could be argued that it was simply a redeployment and overseas contingency operation. [:)]

After all it wasn't much of a war, the real death toll and human devestation was encountered after it became a police action.

Oh, this makes my head hurt. Then please get the lot of the Clinton administration and...well, we might as well wait until Obama is out of office because Clinton was using Rendition, and Obama is continuing to use it. Oh, for all the bleeding hearts who don't want to see anyone being tortured.....THAT'S WHAT RENDITION IS! Only we don't want blood on our hands so we'll send the criminals to the countries who won't waterboard but will break bones instead to get the information we want. Yeah, that's sooooo much better and more humane. Hypocrites.

Well fuck...

I'm not sure why but I was just overcome by a radical urge to bind you, gag you and fuck the hell out of you.

Just sayin'..............
