I think that is absolutely ridiculous that women have to worry about what they're wearing just in order to ensure that we'll be taken seriously. That's enough to drive anyone crazy. And it's a crying shame.

That does not mean she was crazy, that makes men assholes because she had to alter her appearance to get respect for what she had to say. I experienced this quite a bit when I was younger. I was treated like I was brainless because I have blond hair and big boobs... the issue wasn't mine, it was theirs. Maturity has lent me credibility that I did not used to have, but I remember very well what it was like to get gawked at even when I was wearing overly large tshirts and sweat pants with a pony tail and no makeup. It wasn't a conflict with wanting to be "sexless", it was wanting to be taken seriously.

Status: offline 		Does hot trump crazy? Not a fucking chance, for me at least. My first ex was physically quite attractive and completely off her bloody rocker. Having had that experience, I wouldn't go near her with a ten-foot pole with a condom on it. No physical attractiveness can compensate for the drama and stress that someone mentally unbalanced causes for me.

Now, Kitten... she's a little quirky, and equally a hottie (I should hope so, I married her!). I'm much happier with her than I ever was with my first ex. Sex is a lot better in this relationship, too.

Well... i've given this advice to a lot of folks. And i've expirienced it first hand. i seem to have a soft spot for crazy, others call it a magnet...
