ORIGINAL: RedMagic1 LOL, fair enough! I wasn't talking about everyone, yanno. However, I can give you examples to support my position. My first longterm girlfriend was gorgeous, and also a child prodigy, first enrolled in college at the age of 12. She would often tell me she wanted to be a "sexless scientist," and dressed in ways that would minimize her cleavage and her hourglass, so men would listen to what she was saying instead of looking at her chest. That does not mean she was crazy, that makes men assholes because she had to alter her appearance to get respect for what she had to say. I experienced this quite a bit when I was younger. I was treated like I was brainless because I have blond hair and big boobs... the issue wasn't mine, it was theirs. Maturity has lent me credibility that I did not used to have, but I remember very well what it was like to get gawked at even when I was wearing overly large tshirts and sweat pants with a pony tail and no makeup. It wasn't a conflict with wanting to be "sexless", it was wanting to be taken seriously.
