you know all joking aside there is one protocol that is standard the world over, respect. respect doesn't mean obedience, and it doesn't mean bowing and scraping to every Dom/Domme, Master/Mistress but it does mean being polite as long as they are polite. you can be perfectly polite and still say no. at least thats one protocol that i consider standard.

With the limited information provided, I don't see what the big deal is either. Perhaps she was taught to follow him one to two steps behind and to his right. Perhaps she was taught not to begin eating until he did. Perhaps she was taught to watch his cup to see when it needed to be refilled. Perhaps she was taught to kneel or sit at his feet when they were home relaxing, watching tv. Perhaps she was taught not to answer "yes" or "no", but "yes sir" or "no sir". I can see how this sort of person would be more desirable to some people, as they can skip over the basic issues of deference and how to conduct oneself and move on to the particulars of how a specific master/owner/whatever wants them to behave. and i've seen that book on Amazon.com - but it was too expensive for me. So i've had to muddle along as best i can - by listening to my Sir. sigh it's hard to have to make it up when i know there is a book out there.

In my hand right now is a book byRobert j. Rubel,PhD. The title is PROTOCOLS[handbook for the female slave] Not a bad book, but to me a dull read.Huntertn
