I just read a female profile in which she said she has had one master in the past, so is familiar with some of the protocols

can someone help me, I didn't know there was a standardized slave training sylibus, I need to know what this is

This is what you're looking for... but I'm not tellin' where you can get one.  [;)][:D]

And wouldn't ya know it..........the chapters I aced in subby school are the ones my master isn't interested in;.or hasn't read yet. I'm a-thinkin' he's not a twue master 'cuz he does things the way he wants instead of by-the-book.

The "book" also makes for a good whacking device... nice THUD, and all.  [;)][:D]

and this wasn't her meaning, I didn't quote the entire profile, her meaning was that she wouldn't have to relearn whatever it was she learned already

So what? She knows what protocols she likes and wants to have them again in her next relationship. As such, it behooves her - and all those reading her profile - for that be laid out on the table.

each relationship is unique in ritual and expected patterns of behavior

By that logic, I should be a dominant in my next relationship because that would be unique for me. When you know what works for you, you look to work it into your next dynamic as well.

Why do you feel the need to subject this woman to criticism on these boards when she isn't here to defend or explain herself? Have you linked her to this discussion?

Geez, Why is this a toughie?
Doesn't everyone know the standardized protocol is strip, drop, open and suck?

slo18 -> RE: standardized slave protocols (3/16/2010 10:57:02 PM)

you know all joking aside there is one protocol that is standard the world over, respect. respect doesn't mean obedience, and it doesn't mean bowing and scraping to every Dom/Domme, Master/Mistress but it does mean being polite as long as they are polite. you can be perfectly polite and still say no. at least thats one protocol that i consider standard.

itsmeinLV -> RE: standardized slave protocols (3/17/2010 12:09:05 AM)

It's pinned to the sub/slave's shirt, or if s/he is into needle-play, on the person themselves.  [:D]

Wasn't it "show up, shut up, and do as you're told"?

that works for me but the women seem to have a problem with the concept

Shyla -> RE: standardized slave protocols (3/19/2010 9:29:16 AM)

And here all this time I thought there WAS standard protocol.  It all boils down to one word, doesn't it?  SOP is.... obey

But I really really want a copy of that book  >.>

Actually, for slaves: serve, submit, obey. [:)] Makes it pretty simple - no book needed.

OP:  How can you be surprised that someone would express protocols, when you once started a thread with exactly the same topic about your own slave training "syllabus":

#1 show up

#2 shut the fuck up

#3 do as your told

Actually i've learned that the 3 are individual actions. But that's a different thread. [;)]

i can see the desire to serve, submit and obey as attitudes and obedience as a behavior

in that way I'll agree there is a difference

CalifChick -> RE: standardized slave protocols (3/20/2010 10:42:54 AM)

With the limited information provided, I don't see what the big deal is either.  Perhaps she was taught to follow him one to two steps behind and to his right.  Perhaps she was taught not to begin eating until he did.  Perhaps she was taught to watch his cup to see when it needed to be refilled.  Perhaps she was taught to kneel or sit at his feet when they were home relaxing, watching tv.  Perhaps she was taught not to answer "yes" or "no", but "yes sir" or "no sir".

I can see how this sort of person would be more desirable to some people, as they can skip over the basic issues of deference and how to conduct oneself and move on to the particulars of how a specific master/owner/whatever wants them to behave.

kiwisub12 -> RE: standardized slave protocols (3/20/2010 4:44:10 PM)

and i've seen that book on Amazon.com - but it was too expensive for me. So i've had to muddle along as best i can - by listening to my Sir.

*sigh* it's hard to have to make it up when i know there is a book out there.
