No. Being Dominant in My view can be part of nature, being a learned Dominant in this lifestyle is another subject as it is a studious and ongoing endeavor regardless of orientation in the lifestyle spectrum.

I agree with life being the verb/noun/what and lifestyle being the adjective/how. When my friend said "welcome to the lifestyle" I was so baffled because I think of this as something I do for a few hours a week on the DL that doesn't have any effect on how I live my life, values, dreams, ambitions, etc. I treat kink as I do yaoi/movies/riding a bike and going to work (although more enjoyable!). It's something I do - not something that does me. It ain't the USSR.

However, society being what it is with its own agenda, indoctrinated me into what it wanted. Although i rebelled against society in my own ways, it's only been since entering the world of BDSM that i've been able to identify those original inclinations and desires and embrace them. Now it is an uncovering, a disgarding of what i've learned but is not truly me, and an embracing of who i am - in this, i view myself as submissive as i am fulfilled from pleasing.
