This could be a fun discussion if people are willing to take the time to listen to it

Real, get that hair out your eyes. I can't watch that right now, and I shouldn't have to. The words in the original document speak for themselves. The People who wrote those documents were not on youtube either.

Even though I am on your side, I have no time for videos and speeches anyway. All I care is the Law, and that was defined long before any of us were born.

Well this thread is off to a rousing start.....lol.

DomKen -> RE: Constitution and Bill of Rights Class (what they forgot to teach in school) (3/18/2010 11:51:50 PM)

Badnarik is a anti tax guy who has claimed the 16th amendment wasn't ratified. He bases his claims on Benson's book _The Law That Never Was_ which has been thoroughly rejected by both the courts and professional historians.

If Badnarik knows so little about the US Constitution why should I spend any time hearing him blather on the subject?

slvemike4u -> RE: Constitution and Bill of Rights Class (what they forgot to teach in school) (3/18/2010 11:57:26 PM)

Because RealOne suggested we do?

What does that have to do with teaching the "organic" constitution.

Oh and show your proof that it was ratified! LMAO

Philander Knox, US secretary of State and the responsible party in this case, received the final ratification required and certified that the amendment as part of the US Constitution on Feb. 25, 1913.

LOL, first of all the guy should be arrested for violation of statute in the displaying of the american flag. secondly, this shithouse lawyer has no fucking clue what he is talking about, I watched a fucking hour of this moron doing a typical shithouse lawyer, tinfoil hat song and dance, nothing doing.

That's dogpuke that is.

You show the proper apathy that all too often rules the day as what was 'defined' long before we were born...has been butchered for political and profit motives ever since.

Really?  Well we are all waiting to hear your "expert" analysis or is it going to be your usual spout shit then dodge duck and dance show?

mnottertail -> RE: Constitution and Bill of Rights Class (what they forgot to teach in school) (3/19/2010 7:55:24 AM)

no, I have given fact after fact after fact, and you (and only you) have ignored them.

Again, we need not look beyond the flag on his instructional manual. If you are going to lecture (with any hope of anything beyond drooling fucktards in attendance) on the constitution, you should be at least able to get your head around state law.

You show bullshit and unattributed and unsubstanitated pictures and call your shit proof.

Nah.

Oh of course, let's not discuss the merits of the case, let's go after Badnarik.

Looking back at the records, it cannot be conclusively proven that the 16th amend. was passed. That doesn't stop govt. of course, they have the guns. It has been proven that at least Minn. had their vote tallied and reported to the congress in favor, when the state...had done no such thing not having reported anything.

Additionally, Kentucky's vote was first announced as unanimous in favor of the amend. The state raised hell and that announcement had to be revised. How ? Why ?

mnottertail -> RE: Constitution and Bill of Rights Class (what they forgot to teach in school) (3/19/2010 8:04:45 AM)

Ja? I am from Minn, where was that cite of proof?

We? You got that mouse in your pocket again? You sure do if you want to understand what its about at least enough to comment on it and the flag is 1 minute into the discussion not 1 hour ron.  Hope that helps!

If you are going to lecture (with any hope of anything beyond drooling fucktards in attendance) on the constitution, you should be at least able to get your head around state law.

Another disconnected meaningless claim.

Here ron, you first need to make a piece of toast with butter and get your head around that before you can post on the matter.  Makes as much sense as whatever you think you said.

You show bullshit and unattributed and unsubstanitated pictures and call your shit proof.

Nah.

Ron this is not 911 and you are right that neither ohaha nor dubya gave their blessing before serving you communion.

ron, thats not how it works.

you see if the government claims they [insert lie here] did something the burden of proof is on them to prove they did it, not the people to prove they didnt, although the people have proven it.

mnottertail -> RE: Constitution and Bill of Rights Class (what they forgot to teach in school) (3/19/2010 9:12:35 AM)

right, and it wasnt the state of minnesota claiming they did, it was MrRogers claiming they did without proof of their claiming they did.

but buttered toast is as close as you will get to the law.

Just cuz some fucktard like Bezinik or whatever the fuck that sewerworkers name is claims to study the constitution for 18 years makes him an expert on law, (it don't take nobody 18 years to study the constitution (it aint that long)). Espe;cially when the conclusions they come to are shit, suprises me anyone would play in shit for 18 years.

So Minnesota never voted for the 16th amendment? Then what is this:
https://www.revisor.mn.gov/data/revisor/law/1912/1/1912-SP-R02.pdf

Sure as hell looks like a joint resolution of the Minnestota House and Senate approving the 16th amendment on June 12, 1912.
