Look, this is my busines PC. if I want to view a video I either have to install this and that, clinb down and find the speakers and whatever. Or I could go to another PC an view it but I don't want to. Why does everything start with a video ? Have we not the ability to type our assertions ?
Is this to become a forum of video exchange from youtube ? Half the time there is no opinion after in a post. Half of what's left does not matter. Half of what remains is junk, and who knows what happens then. I am almost thinking that there should be some sort of flag, to tell us old folks, those who use words that is, to just forget it.
You can describe a football game on the radio quite well, why not here ? In fact when I was into it back in the early 1990s I had a five foot TV and a surround system that was pretty good, and we listened to the games off the radio while it showed on the screen from the local TV station.
The day came when I remembered how to read. As I said I can't read or write, gut that means I can't read cursive writing. And my penmanship is poor unless I take great care doing it. To others it comes easy. It is a shortcoming and I recognize it completely. I can deal with text, like on a PC screen, but not handwriting. I can't even read what I myself wrote half the time.
But text is a different thing. Although it agitates my eyes, irritates and all, it is worth it. So why all the videos ?
Lazy. Can't even write a report on it. I could read the narrator's words in fifteen seconds but I have to watch a a half hour video. Get off that shit people. I just don't have the time.
Bring me in some fresh meat. No fucking links, videos, nothing. Tell me things in your own words. If I wanted to hear what they have to say I would be there. I am here because I want to hear what you have to say. Not Alex Jones or Alex Harvey, not ZZ Top or Zimbabwe, Not Queen or the Queen. What do YOU have to say.
Yes, threads that open with a video should be marked so that I don't waste my time.
You ever notice how when I admit I am wrong on here that it was when someone wrote it out, not linked to some shit ? Even Ken, who sees the world from a totally different aperature than me, is the most powerful when he uses his own words. Not from a link or anything like that. Sometimes I openly capitulate if he is right, other times I don't. For example I totally agree that people who go to tax court with sixteenth amendment issues are out of their mind. Anyone who keeps up on this knows that is no good. There is only one way to beat them, and I ain't tellin'. Most don't want to hear it anyway. So much for that.
As much as those who hate me here hate me, I speak my mind. The main things I have ever posted in the way of media were hosted my moi. A few links here and there. You see I try to make sense out of the nonsense. It can be done. I was this way even before my internet years when I was studying what I guess you could call law.
Now I could just as easily upload a video to youtube as the Persident. I could say all my shit and if you look at it, what it took me twenty minutes to say could have been read in five.
The true escape from reality is watching videos and otherwise engaging in other media. For some of course it might be drugs but that is not for me. Actually I think I should stay in reality, not some quasi-reality created for me by some spinster.
Those who wish to invoke me, use words, I will not generally watch videos. Tomorrow I might catch a couple on my other PC, but now is not the time. My buddy Ed, the PC guru who could damnear build a site like this, I don't want him to call me on the phone. Email is fine. Take your time, and I'll take mine. To have a video is to control the rate of propogation as well as the rest of it. Streaming anything, that you can't save, TV, phones, all that is an intrusion into my precious time, and I will not have it. Sorry. Years ago people used to have pen pals for a reason.
I have limited time, and I think I might be going blind. I am not going to waste this time watching some fuckhead at a podium telling me shit I've known for twenty fucking years. Would you ? It hurts my eyes just to look at the screen, but I do make an exception for George Carlin. But don't throw any in here, I will not watch it.
I came here for your opinion, not youtube's.
