On C-SPAN’s Washington Journal this morning Rep. David Nunes (R-CA) expressed his approval of tea party protesters who shouted faggot at Rep. Barney Frank and ****** at Rep. John Lewis. Nunes said, “Yeah, well I think that when you use totalitarian tactics, people, you know, begin to act crazy.” Racism and homophobia have nothing to do with health care, but everything to do with the tea party movement.

Nunes simply pointed out the frustration people felt.  BTW, you left out the parts where Nunes said the slurs were, "reprehensible". 

Please, when you post, do so with honesty, and not with an agenda, such as the idiot that interviewed Nunes.

Their party policy consists of Crazy Propaganda.

The Repug congressman (Rep. David Nunes (R-CA)) didn’t have the nerve or stupidity to demand proof because they have the tapes and they would have furnished the evidence.

I don't know if this particular claim is true but you will have to admit...Republican legislators have shouted inappropriately on more than one occasion…”Baby killer”…”You Lie”…Their protestors spout hate and intolerance rather than compromise and change.

Right now fanatics are leading the conservative party with no plan for change…just hate.

I get a kick out of the people who say” Wait till November”...will if they keep up this hate mongering they will be in for a surprise not the Democrats.

It deeply disturbs me that my party of 10 years ago has deteriorated so… and now is tearing this country apart rather than bringing it together.

Republicans should be ashamed of their actions…I am. We should not care that the Democrats are doing the same thing…We should be above dirty politics, and theatrical radio personalities, and keep the wants and needs of our people in the forefront.

How can I condemn something before I know it happened? I am not saying that it didn't. If it occured it is unacceptable. If it occurred it was an isolated incident, by one or two idiots, I feel pretty safe making that assumption as I have been searching for video of it occurring, still haven't found any.

That being said somebody did definitely spit on or at Rep. Cleaver, and Cleaver's reaction is quite noticable in the videos.

As for the standard of having to condemn every idiotic action or word from a nutjob (or even group of them), or it is tantamount to condoning it, I disagree. I don't have enough time in the day to waste on some piece of shit that is acting up out of my line of sight, and quite frankly none of us do. However, if that is the standard that is going to be used, I suppose I should expect a very forceful condemnation of the SEIU thugs that beat and shouted racial hatreds at a townhall protester. Oh and since we are doing this guilt by association thing, there are a couple of left wing radical groups that use a whole bunch of racial slurs and physical means to get their "message" out there.

Like I said I don't expect you or anybody else on that side of the spectrum to condemn the actions, because it only gives the idiots more attention. Kind of like feeding the trolls around here, know what I mean?
