There would be a palpable difference in power; I would feel powerless thus hot. However, it would only be one aspect of a scenario rather than the be all and end all. Who would want to forget the whips, handcuffs, etc?

Status: offline 		Good question.  When I first realized I had a predilection for being naked and tormented in sundry ways by a fully clothed woman, I was very young.  At that time, I think the fantasies grew out of my own personal Great White Whale--an organically developing scene with an inherently sadistic girl.

Having a girl strip me and torment me felt more plausible than stumbling upon someone who happened to have a fully equipped dungeon hidden away in her parents' pool house.  It also felt more "real" in the sense that, by the time you find yourself in a predicament involving St Andrews crosses and floggers and nipple clamps, it's pretty clear you've bought a ticket to take the ride. 

Because the interest came to me so early in life, when I think of the way the woman is dressed I am thinking of a natural outgrowth of the "edgy schoolgirl" look that the more interesting and wicked girls I hung out with favored off school grounds.  It was usually something like boots/Chuck Taylors with a skirt and a band shirt.  Sometimes jeans and a band shirt.  I still picture the woman wearing something edgy casual--something comfortable but not entirely "safe" looking.  Preppy but slightly bratty.

When it comes down to brass tacks, when I think of CFNM the woman is supposed to be comfortable/amused and I'm uncomfortable/debased/in pain/whatever.  The woman's wardrobe reflects what I picture when I think of insouciant, laconic, somewhat detached control.  Coldness and cruelty, in lipgloss and fashionable boots.

As an aside, I don't really associate suits with power.  I'm a child of the 80s and I appreciate a good suit, but I don't really find elegant clothing in any way intimidating.  Probably a little jaded in that regard.

I think you've said it all. I'm OK with the stereotypical leather clad dominatrix outfit, but nice office appropriate attire adds a nice touch of real world decorum and a nice display of quiet confidence.

Please tell me you've heard the song "Short Skirt, Long Jacket" by the band Cake!

Status: offline 		I have these fantasies and scenarios in which the woman is almost always wearing something sexy, either jeans and blouse, summer dress, or something more intense. It's important that she be fully clothed, even down to her toes being covered. It all depends on the sweatpants and how they look on her as well. The other part of this scenario that is powerful for me it that I must disrobe infront of her.

I don't understand that, rhpaw. Are you saying that women's 'imperfections' disappear when they're clothed as opposed to naked?

Status: offline 		Hi, AAkasha.   I am a long-time admirer from the days you first started your website.  Of course the dynamic where the woman is clothed and the man is not, is powerful in my fantasies and real life.  Of course, the way she is dressed doubles the amount of vulnerability in the situation.  A woman clothed in a house-dress or a loose T-shirt and sweats is NOT nearly as powerful as a woman dressed as if she is successful or near the pinnacle of some clique or social group.   She may be dressed as a librarian or equestrian or some authoritarian or even a barbarian.  The fact that she is dressed for success and presents the image of being at the top is what enhances the experience or fantasy.

A woman dressed in a house-dress may take me back to my adolescent years and remind me of my friend's mother.  I may feel vulnerable but it wouldn't present me with as much excitement and it would certainly detract from the "hot dynamic" as you call it.

Status: offline 		I like to wear something comfortable but dressy and to my own aesthetic taste. Long, soft pants, comfortable blouse, heeled boots that come off for foot massage. I play up my own comfort not because I don't enjoy being in fetish wear occasionally, ( I do !) but because particularly the first time I play with a boy, I want to drive home the fact that I am not here to dress myself up for him like a free pro domme, and play to his fantasy, but to enjoy his service to me.  I think this helps me weed out the kind of fetishist I might not have the patience for, and home in on the kind of guy who derives his deepest satisfaction from service.

Status: offline 		For me, it is not about what the ladies wear as long as it is something that she would wear out in public.  I enjoy the unfairness and the teasing part of me not allowed to see anything that anyone else would see if they went to work, out to shop, or out on the town.  Even if they want to wear their sweats like the are going to the gym.  I agree with those that say the ladies should not dress for the men, but for themselves and the current situation.

This is the aspect of D/s that got me interested in it.  I have never really liked the fantasy outfits, nor the fantasy dungeons.  Real everyday settings, real everyday women.  Of course my interest came from when younger and seeing or hearing girls reactions, or hearing them talk about seeing some boy/man naked.  Their laughter, smiles, giggles, surpressed laughter, really got to me. Never really heard much the other way.  Hearing girls laugh and giggle telling other girls always made me fear getting caught with my pants down.

Wearing something sexy, like an outfit one would wear to a club, a business outfit, or just some nice looking jeans/slacks could add another element  to it as most of us men cannot help but think about sex and it would add the additional humilation and embarassment of getting aroused in a situation where we are not going to have sex (whether we  know it or not).  Most times we are naked in front of women it would be in an intimate situation.  The are three levels of embarassment men may go through beyond just being naked, but additionally getting aroused, and finally being caught/seen masturbating.  So having the ladies see us at any/each of those levels, while we only see what anyone else would see of her in public is intimidating and embarassing.  For me, the more women, the more intimidating, embarassing and humiliating ( but also exciting).  It's unfair that they get to see me that way while I got nothing but embarassment.  And don't let me even think of them telling their girlfriends...

Status: offline 		Gulp, this is (and has been for many years) a total desire on my part, long before I ever learned this dynamic had a name. 

Yep, the woman in business attire would be perfect.  Jammies and bunny slippers might do it for some, but not me (at least in this context).  A dominant woman as a bossy business woman with power over year...gulp...GAWD YES.

To be honest, I've often pictured this in my mind, never had anything like this in reality (well, sort of in FemDomme parties where several men are naked and the women are clothed.  However, I've never thought about what the women would wear.

I imagine it's a women-can-touch-and-grope-and-men-have-to-be-passively-accepting-of-it-all affair.  Gosh, why wasn't this the norm instead of sock hops when I was youngish???
