They are advertised here occasionally.  Depends what kind of events you want.
Informed Consent is UK based and you are more likely to get UK events posted on there.

I echo the.dark

Most (if not all) UK events (munches, clubs, shows, special events) are on Informed Consent. Look on the left hand side column when you log in, and look under 'events'.

Or Fetlife has a number of groups for different parts of the UK (and Ireland, I believe).
