Again, that was mentioned on his wiki and a few other websites. As far as what I learned about Wallis came from here and a few other places. If I had gotten my info from Beck I would say that is where I got it from. Thanks again for your interest in my television viewing habits.
If you were getting info from discoverhtenetworks then why did it take you a year to start talking about it? The site bases its claims about Wallis and Obama to various articles from March 2009. Strangely in the days immediately prior to your first mention of the man he opposed Becks claims about the christian faith. Beck's counterattack is on exactly teh same charges as you've made including claiming he is somehow Obama's sole spiritual advisor, when in fact sources indicate Obama regularly discusses spiritual matters with 5 or 6 people, sources you would have read if you had follwed a single link from the discoverthenetworks site.

I wasn't asked about the man until just this past month. I had no reason to go looking.
Further, where did I say sole? Then again you seem to like to see what you want when it comes to those you disagree with.
Finally, as I have stated in another post here. What reason would I have to deny watching Beck? If I watched his show I would say so. Just like I have admitted in the past to watching the 3 primetime shows on Fox and on MSNBC. Of course maybe you are right and Beck has so much influence that these folks must also be watching and parroting him.... following the sources cited one comes to this with just one click, imagine that.

President Barack Obama spent 20 years under the ministry of Rev. Jeremiah Wright on Chicago's South Side.
Wright is a Marxist and admirer of the founder of "Black Liberation Theology", James Cone - who wrote in 1969 "All white men are responsible for white oppression. . . . Theologically, Malcolm X was not far wrong when he called the white man 'the devil.'"
In June 1998 Wright attended the Black Radical Congress in Chicago where he shared a panel with Cornel West and and former parishioner Michael Eric Dyson of the Democratic Socialists of America Religion and Socialism Commission, plus a former Communist Party member from his own Trinity United Church of Christ named Kevin Tyson.
The panel was entitled "Faith as a Weapon: Spirituality and the Role of the Church In The Radical Movement."
Maybe Rev. Wright even met another Congress participant - a young radical from Standing Together to Organize a Revolutionary Movement, named Van Jones.
Today President Obama gets his spiritual nourishment from another source, a leader of American "progressive" Christianity, named Jim Wallis.
Jim Wallis is white and oh so smooth and reasonable. He is no firebrand like Jeremiah Wright. He is a registered Democrat and the respectable face of the Christian left.
Rev. Wallis has served on Obama's White House Advisory Council on Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnerships, or "Faith Council" since 2008, but the relationship is personal and goes back at least a dozen years.
