Have you noticed?  No one appears to age on collarme.com.  This seems true regardless of one's status -- dom, domme, submissive, slave, switch.  People whose profiles have been up for years remain the same age they were when they first posted.  I can understand that.  There is no automatic update and who wants to acknowledge the aging process.  Certainly not me.

But what I find bemusing is that some folks actually get younger on collarme.com!  I noticed that a few years ago when a domme dropped below the 50 years of age line.  It apparently worked for her as she wrote of having found her slave not long after the change.  I've noticed it a few times since then.

I'm not being critical, mind you.  I just think it's unfortunate that some feel the need.  I for one find some of the dommes over 50 (and over 60) quite alluring, extremely attractive, and exceptionally articulate in explaining who they are and whom they seek.  Unfortunately it's seldom someone over 60.

My age went up by a year last week on here [:)] and my partners age will be going up by a year next week [:D]

I can't say I notice age staying the same. Now you have mentioned it I might just observe that a bit more.

Happy belated birthday Maria :-)

And for the record, the system doesn't advance the age automatically as you don't programme your birth date into it. You have to manually adjust it yourself. Some people just forget to do this.

Hmmm. . . I am one of those that has not aged, as I do not think that I have ever done anything with my profile.  Oh well.

I don't change my age here because I see no reason. I don't come here seeking anything but forum chat and to keep up a link to my 2 munch lists.

But, I will comment on the age thing. My god I hate it when a guy 5 or 10 yrs younger calls me an older woman when he begins his pursuit. Yep, I am older but I don't purposely seek out younger men, they find me! Not because I present myself as a certain age but because they think I am their age. Once I tell them how old I am I suddenly become cougar labeled. Phht. I am young at heart, young in look, and this older woman idea is irritating. I can see why people would want to keep that underwraps. Age is a number and to that I say big hairy deal. The day the 20 somethings stop looking my way is the day I want to head to the old age home to seduce the orderlies.

O dammit all to hell. I'm 47, I'm not going to hide it and I list it on my profile. I'm one of "those" that changes her age when my birthday comes up. But then, that's just the way I am. I don't really care if someone decides I'm too old or not old enough or just right. It's a fact of life and I've never been too concerned with it. It's me, and I've earned every one of those 47 yrs. If somebody else has a problem with it, find another profile to look at.

A close friend came home on her 30th birthday with a new car. She went into a funk, blew me away. My sister's 40th was absolute hell on wheels. Of course, being the smartass i can be, had to send her a funny card. OOOO boy, she just didn't get it. My name was changed to mud. As if not getting the card, hating it, not liking the fact that she was now 40 was going to send me on a guilt trip. NOT MY PROBLEM.

In the words of the immortal Popeye, I yam who I yam. ME. I've matured as the years have flown by but I still haven't grown up. It's no fun being the grown up, I leave that to my o so dear sister with the broomstick up her arse. It's now been in so long, it's growing its own roots. And I am not going to be the one to pull said broomstick from said arse. NO WAY NO HOW NUH HUH.

Right now (since I turned 60 on March 17th) that won't happen..... the 20 somethings could be my grand-boys.  The others, my boys.  When I was 35, I had a boy in his early 60s.

P.S.  Last year, I changed my profile to be the then current 59 when a sweet-young-thing accused me of lying by taking 5 years off my age..... At the time, I didn't know that the system didn't update auto-magically.

P.P.S Written profile AND "age it shows" are in agreement at 60.  Avatar pic is at.... 54 (I think) and is correct except for now I have pure white 'stache.

I am a newby to CM, as I have held my lifestyle as private for many years.

Now as to aging on this site, I wonder how many on CM or in the lifestyle noticed the movie years ago, Death becomes her? The tell tell sign of the Mistress/Madame and her men? They never aged.

Actually for many of us who are in the true lifestyle, we tend to have less stress on us from our playful/releases, therefore we do not seem to age physically as we do actually.

As for older Mistresses/Madames/Doms/Dommes etc.. With age comes experience!
