Hello, Dommes. I am looking for a Mistress to at least start online, as i am fairly new to this, and to be honest a little nervous. Any responses i'm getting on the site are either fake profiles, or people asking me to give them money or subscribe to their website. Welcome. Sorry to break this to you, but is you're going to sit back and hope a Mistress contacts you, you'll end up with only pro Dommes and fakes. The genuine Mistresses here are too busy dealing with the malesubs that contact them, to go looking.

My suggestion is:

1. Get to know people in the Polls and Ransom Stupidity and Off Topic sections. You'll get a feel for people, including Dommes, that you feel a connection with, and they'll get a feel for you as well.

2. Get out to munches and local groups and meet people in the flesh.

What DS said. You really won't have much luck in what you're looking for unless you are willing to put forth the effort. I usually liken finding your partner to a job search...it doesn't fall into your lap until you get out there and look for what you want.
