Hi all!
I am hoping that this is the hard part.... And I figure that you will only get back that which you put in. I figured I would jump in feet first. While not new to BDSM I am new to the online aspects of it. I am looking to make friends in the community to help me grow and to be who I know I am.

Many thanks to Collarme and other sites (and members) for providing such a service!

Thanks for the welcome! Although I must say that I am usually doing the rope work! Having been a cowboy and a roper for many years I have a pretty good speed tie.

Oh and be on the look out for our resident bearwhore.. I'm sure he'll be over here to say hi at some point too *grins*

Hmmmm
I have put a rope on a lot of things, and I have been around a lot of bears, but I will pass on putting a rope on one. Not that I am afraid to try but it is the letting them go that would have me worried.

lmao that so reminded me of hubby catching the coon last summer.... it was so not the catching that was the problem, it was getting it out of the bed of his truck * roflmao* the damn thing wouldnt get out of the back and hubby was sitting in the cab and couldnt do a damn thing about it. Every time he went to get it out of there it would try and eat him lol lol lol ... ended up having to put on uber thick gloves and pull him out lol.... then run like hell before it decided to chase him .... again..... lol lol

My point exactly! All you can do is to use the best method for surviving a bear ( or any critter) attack. Just remember that you do not have to outrun the thing chasing you, only the ex-friend running with you. And if you are by yourself, suck it up and take your licks cause you should have known better than to piss it off in the first place!

I have heard that skunks make good pets, but due to many bad childhood experiences there is no way I could bring myself to find out. Nor do I know of any effective repellents. Better to duck and run away and live to fight another day.

the little ones are sooo cute though... we remodeled last summer and we had baby skunks and big skunks living in the dumpster right outside the house.... ..... when they came to dump it they had to get the skunks out ( cause they didn't want to squish them after all) the older fella ended up grabbin the babies and tossin them in the yard, they were too little to spray yet ( thank god cause it kept showin us its ass and I was like oh god please no.... lmao ) The big ones were apparently my job... and what did they gimme to get rid of em with... a damn sling shot and BB's..... lol my hubby has now dubbed me "Annie Oakley".... * gets spit can n stuff* I can hit a skunk 20 yards off wiff just muh BB's .... right between the eyes... *thunk* lol lol lol

edited to add.... was a pleasure chatting with you, have a good night... gonna go catch some sleep, hubby has to get to bed for work tomorrow and he's been patiently waiting and laughing thus far....

While I commend you on your aim, they should be ashamed of arming you with nothing more than a slingshot. That is like bringing a knife to a gun fight. If they are going to make you do it they could have at least offered you a NBC suit and a gas mask.

lol omg ... thats about the truth too. I was like wtf do you expect me to do with this, then they started picking on me and said that I couldn't hit the broad side of a barn if I wanted too, and well yeah I had no choice but to figure it out at that point lol. By the time I had it down pat I was gettin them between the eyes in while they were perched inside the dumpster and again on the ass when they were runnin through the yard lol. Guess that teaches them to talk shit . They were handing me pennies before hubby found the box of bb's but they just whistled and fell before they got to the target... so spinners aren't a good bullet choice lol.

Sooooo, how long you been poking around in this wonderful world of perverted kinksters?

Since before I new it had a name. Needless to say it caused havoc in several relationships. I finally met my wife and we spent 20 wonderful years together. Alas all good things must end. Saddly she passed away last year due to illness. I spent the last 6 months getting my life back in order and figured it was time to see what I had missed.

awwww I'm sorry to hear of your recent loss. It's never easy to lose someone you love.

I remember the days when I didn't know that all of this had a name.... *shakes head* not a fun time. Oddly enough it was my mom that noticed it and was the first person to put a name to it. ( she had seen me with an old boyfriend and how I used to have him wrapped around my finger and him basically serving my every whim.... ) so that's when I started learning and reading and finding out what exactly all of this was, that was about 13 years ago. I met a sub shortly there after and he taught me a lot, had a bad run in with a Dom who taught me a lot of the what not to do's and from there I've made tons of friends went to the local club and have just been doing my own thing pretty much. There are lots of things to keep one busy within this twisted little world of ours *grins*. I wish you much luck with finding what you seek, just remember that it doesn't come over night and its a forever learning process... bright side is that it never gets boring...

Thank you for the condolence. I agree that anything worth having is worth taking the time and effort to find and keep. Our relationship was interesting to say the least. As I did not know what I was doing and was not mature enough early on be able to read and understand her. It was certainly a D/s relationship but it did not extend to kink in the bedroom. She had very deep rooted (read religous indoctrination) dislike anything not considered sexually "normal". While her body loved it, we could not overcome the guilt and aversion. To her credit, she tried. Maybe that would be a good forum topic. I have just moved to a small town that is predominatly catholic and am guessing that locally I will probably find much the same reaction.

you can always try and google the local area's for BDSM groups or alt lifestyle groups. You never know, you might find something that's not too far away. Local clubs are a great way to get your feet wet and meet folks who are also interested in many different aspects of D/s. Plus there are always folks there that are willing to show you the ropes so to speak and can help you perfect any skills.

My hubby was raised in a catholic family as well and he has issues with some of the play time things but overall he tries really hard. The best thing is that he puts a lot of effort into being open minded and at least trying stuff before he puts it on the no-no list. I think that's half the battle, keeping an open mind. While some things don't work out, others do and its a hell of a lot of fun trying stuff out and seeing where it goes. I don't think I have ever laughed so hard in my life as when some things don't turn out quite right or you get a reaction that you really didn't expect....
We aren't into any of the dangerous play stuff so when we have mishaps its usually fairly tame but funny as hell.

I still get some odd looks from people I know when they stumble across "hints" to our preferences but who cares to each their own. Don't worry about how other people look at what you do, if you're smart about it and careful they don't really know anyhow all they can do is guess. Unless of course you run into them at a club somewhere but at that point they have nothing to say anyhow lol.

Okies I gotta run to Lowes or Home Depot to go get trim for the bathroom and then stop and feed the heathens lunch... I'll be back after while.
