I'm all for free speech, but WHY? Why are they so full of hate? Why must they desecrate the funerals of people who died for THEM and died defending the country that allows them to spew their bile? Some things are just wrong. I think God will have His way with them.

Bill O'Reilly on his show tonight said that he will pay the $60,000. The Atorneys on his show also predicted that the appeals court verdict will be overturned and O'reilly will get his money back. I hope they are right.

Mike, I didn't catch the O'Rielly thing, but maybe he is also paying for the legal fees the father has and will incur because of this case?

I could buy that Thad...but 60,000 and 16,000...it just sounds like Servant needs to pay more attention when listening to his hero's....But either way,and irregrdless that I think O'Rielly's an idiot....in this case and on this occasion he is on the side of the angels.[:)]

If it were my marine son that was raised in North carolina I would be charged with somthing very serious. I think if somebody was disrupting that fine young man's funeral I woulld beat at least one of them sencless. Where are the other so called patrotic Americans Why did they not push this Religous trash away.The son of God I don not care which book you read his name the Tora,Bible, or Koran and his name is mentioned in all three would not endorce such behavior. Will this country survive this decade?

The dad says he isnt paying a penny of the $16,510  fees from Phelps until the supreme court says otherwise.
Hopefully this will get covered, ..if its by O'reilly or a  horde of well wishers, I wish him luck.
He shouldnt have to deal with all that bullshit

This whole situation could have been avoided by lighting fires at the gate of the graveyard because early primates fear fire. This is well known and long established.

Anyway is not O'Reilly paying? He told me he was and I'm holding him to it.

The father doesnt want to pay... his reasoning?

If he pays now, and he wins at the SC level, he realizes he would never see his money back. I cant blame him. The church would never return his money... nor O'Reily's. I think if the SC is taking up this case, which they said they were, then all monetary awards need to wait.
