I see why you need someone to pick out your clothes. With that skirt the only people you'll be attracting are some hicks that just want a hand job. How are you going to represent someone when you don't appear to feel good about yourself? At least get your ends clipped before you try to impress someone. That one's free...I can see the education in your eyes, but I also see your bad relationships. Not to be rude, but if I can see that, just think what your girlfriends are saying behind your back.. When is your birthday?

Yes, I was insulted. I'm just curious though, is this a common means of getting a lady's attention in here? If a Dom wants to gain any ground with a submissive, isn't some courtesy usually required? Sorry, just venting.....lol.

It sounds like the gentleman in question has self-esteem problems.

I'm sure <coff coff> that he would be open to help with that. Possibly you could refer him to the self help section of Amazon.com. (Amazon is just loaded with books like this: Breaking the chain of low self-esteem. )

Seriously, someone who feels the need to be insulting is not self-assured enough (in my opinion) to be a very good Dom. He deserves thanks for saving you time by disqualifying himself so quickly from your possible consideration.

I have run into rude comments like that before. I think he, like others, truly feel like they are helping us subs by commenting on how we can improve ourselves according to their perception. They need to realize we are not "their" subs and do not need the guidance. I had one Dom insist I call him "Sir" when I correspond with him. I know, I know, that is another thread, but I quit writing to him. We don't have time for rudeness. And by the way, that skirt is wild and fun--I love it!!

Sincerely,
ann

My turn to vent. I recently (this morning) had a Dom inform me that I was a fake because I do not have a web cam and was not willing to purchase one (my reason being that I have no need for one and tuition payment is more important). I found this amusing (and rather insulting) because he does not have a picture posted, sent me an e-mail that consisted of only two sentences and his profile is only two half-lines long. I have three pictures and a well thought out profile (at least I think so) poseted, as well as several journal entries. When I brought this fact to his attention he refused to contact me again. Why is it that Doms are permitted to insult (in their mind, give advice) to subs, but when a sub points out something of a similar nature in the Dom it is considered rude? grrrrr.....

Greetings,

Welcome to the wonderful world of online gamers! There's as many reasons for people doing this sort of thing as there are people who do it. Shrug it off and move on - just remember the really good (bad) ones as they make amusing stories. Plus....may wanna keep one on your contact list (or just go visiting the chat rooms) in case you have a really bad day and want to displace some agression on someone. i find they work GREAT for that!

Wow, i do believe that you've encountered a new level of idiocy in this one! *shakes head & laughs* Did you ask yourself why the hell he felt compelled to add the part about when your b-day was? *scratches head & shrugs* Ah, well......oh, yeah - i wouldn't recommend leaving this one on the list for agression displacement as he'd more than likely be too stupid to last long enough for any real enjoyment.
