Not long ago, I started playing with a new Dom, spending my 10 day vacation with him. That entire vacation, we would play several times a day, which is unusual for me, plus he is larger than the very few lovers that I have had. By the last day I was pretty sore and tender and when he entered me, it felt like I was pretty swollen.

I have never had to deal with something like that before, and not entirely sure what to do, besides maybe taking ibuprofen. He and I intend on spending a lot more time together, and I would love to minimize my downtime and discomfort as much as possible. Does anyone have any ideas what I can do?

Tell him and if he has no objections to your being sore deal with it. you'll likely get used to it to an extent as your muscles get used to his size. For short term, quick relief take a hot bath followed by ice. The change in temps confuses the nerve endings and dulls the pain.

Lube, lube and more lube... a silicone based one or one without glycerin and parabens is usually better.
Also using the Tuck's towelettes might help alot as well as cool compresses after play.
If you have small micro-abrasions on the outside A&D ointment might help them.

Lastly, are you using safer sex methods or have you both been tested?
You want to be certain your irritation is just that.

For that matter if he is using latex condoms, you might consider an allergy.

I don't know if it would be an allergy to the condom, because I used them before without many problems, although with much less frequency than he and I did. And for the last few days of the time we spent together, we didn't use them. And yes, we both are tested and are clear, or I wouldn't have even considered playing with him.

If you will be continuing condom use, consider using a water based lube so that it does not deteriorate the latex.

Allergies can surface at any time...or they can present themselves after repeated exposure to the allergen. Or...perhaps he changed brands?

I hope this ends quickly for you...it sounds miserable.

I've had the problem when doing extended periods of banging-hard fucking, and/or multiple hard sessions in a short period of time, particularly if you had an extended period without getting any.  Ibuprofin and ice or icewater compresses will take care of it in short order.  If he has banged you raw and your mucous membranes are chapped, use a plain lubricant (no flavors or spermicides) to allow them to heal without your vaginal walls growing together.  If you're bleeding or have a watery discharge (which is lymph fluid and not regular moisture that you would expect), OR if it is not better in 24 hours, see your doctor.

To prevent it, he is going to have to ease up on the hard banging, or not do hard banging numerous times in one day.
