Relax.  Relax.  This isn't necessarily going to be a train wreck.  I'm not looking for "Weirdest and yuckiest fetishes" or anything like that.  It just occurs to me that all of us have some quirky little predilections; little details that suck us into somebody physically before we even know what hit us.  It's like "Oh hello, stranger on the street, I caught a glimpse of your denim jacket and hot pink lip gloss and suddenly I'm into you like a train."

For instance, I used to date a girl (second semester sophomore year at uni) who got amazingly hot over white framed sunglasses on guys.  In fact, she's probably the biggest reason I've worn exclusively white framed Wayfarers for years and years now.

For me:

Girls in red Chuck Taylors
Pictures of girls flipping off the camera
Girls in cardigans and band shirts
Being punched playfully (but the harder the better) in the arm/leg
Girls who say "dude" frequently
Corduroy pants (especially brown or dark green)
Really garish nail polish (revulsion is now a valid form of attraction, as Seinfeld put it)
Very short hair on girls.  Red hair in particular.

My quirky turn ons are distinctive noses, and those lean, tensile, vein popping forearms.

Swoon

Quirky turn-ons..

A guy driving a truck, bigger lift=better :)
Cowboy boots
A nice fitting pair of Wranglers
Baseball pants, see A-Rod (although I am definitely not a Yankees fan that man wears baseball pants perfectly!)
Strong hands
Strong legs.. on a man, love those speed skaters!
The words "darlin', ma'am and Sir (if you're talking to my Daddy - my real father..)"

Kilts are strangely attractive, I will agree on that.. could be because I love the sound of bagpipes too?

I love accents. I care for a scottish gentalman at work and can chat for hours with him. Now if he had a nicly cropped beard and was tall I would be a puddle. Got to be tall dark and with a love of playing evil little games.

Scents are a biggie some of the ax soaps and normal body scents when the man is excited.

Long well kept hair. The list could be endless.

pajama pants or sweat pants. specifically slept-in, washed too often cotton or ugly flannel, slightly ill fitting, and slouching off of his hips. a good fitting pair of boxer briefs on the same physique does not light a spark in me. but a pair of ugly pajama pants hanging on for dear life? yowza.

Dark hair, crisp white shirt. Love the difference.
Men who aren't embarrassed to put on their reading glasses.
Painters - something about how they deconstruct everything.
A man who can dance the waltz or two step unselfconciously.
Anything that is a dichotomy really. Tall Asian men, men with a $100 haircut in jeans and a t-shirt, cowboy boots with a suit, a dressed up man in a dressed down place.

Anything that shows he is who he is and it's not that he doesn't give a damn what others think. It's that it doesn't even occur to him that other people are thinking about him.

ohhh and accents. Definitely accents. (big shocker there!)

Girls wearing aftershave as perfume. (ZOMG SO HOT SO HOT SO HOT).

Girls with dimples in their lower backs.

Contact with someone of either gender who has a significantly higher skin temp than me.

Guys who can dance.

Accents. British, Brooklyn, Boston are my current faves.

Business suits - but he has to actually work in one, not just put it on for church or a funeral....or just for fun. i love business suits especially at the end of the day, slightly rumpled, tie a bit askew as he is off to have a drink after a tough day in the office....mmmmmmmmm

Wingtip shoes. Same qualifications as above.

Cufflinks (insert Homer Simpson aghgghghgh drooling noise here)

NO FACIAL HAIR - loooove smoothly shaven skin. A slight stubble can be hot too, on the right guy, but really why does every Dom have to have a goatee? Is it a requirement of graduation from Dom school or something?

Natural "man-scent" - maybe with a slight bit of aftershave or deoderant. No girly perfume fragrances.

Little wrinkles around the eyes from smiling. i love to kiss them.

Cool thread :-) !

I love, love, love cufflinks on beautiful poplin shirts on men. I get really turned on by the way some shortsighted people's eyes look when the contact lenses are off. The vague and vulnerable gaze makes me melt. In the same line of thought, I love the look of good glasses *roar*. Hands. The smell of fresh grass (makes me want to lie dow in it *blush*).

PS: just saw Raven's and Sunshinemiss' posts, lol .
