joether -> RE: So, what are Your best qualities? (4/15/2010 12:11:51 AM)

Indeed, one of the hardest questions to truely answer well at. In our culture, we try to create an 'executive summary' of the person we are. We feel that to go indepth would be to show negative aspects of ourselves. Keeping things short and to the point, is the best policy some would say. A list of no more then the number of fingers and toes a person has at the moment. For truely, can any one of us truthfully appreciate the best qualities another has, having not lived along side them, of every hour and day? Some of our best qualities are things we over look in our daily lives, but, without them, we'd feel a part of our person was 'done away with'. And yet, some of our best qualities, were once, or still are, our worst handicaps. Every person over comes life's hurdles in surprising ways. Some jump over, walk around, dig under, and yes, even teleport pass the obstacles in life. Books are written on these people. The ones who have already written, it would be fair to say, there's much more about them, then the mere words you've just read. I wont try to answer this question myself. Talk to those around me, that know me. Listen to their words. I think you'll smile, cry, cheer, laugh, nod, and even wonder. There is more to me then words. Just as there're more about you, the reader, then words. (Yes, it sounds alittle corny or so. I'm actually sleepy, so pardon my bad spelling/grammer)
