Heh.... Yeah... I just rented the movie "Secretary", and without realizing that it was an adult-BDSM movie, watched it with my roommate. Then again, since the opening scene of the movie is the main character in a collar and cuffs attached to a spreader bar wandering around the office... *chuckles* I think I might have enjoyed it a bit more if I'd watched it alone and not with my rather- nilla- roomie, but the movie was very interesting. Just wondered if anyone had seen the movie, and what they thought about it.

Also, I was wondering if anyone knows any other movies- and I don't mean porn, but real, indepth movies- that are BDSM/lifestyle oriented. This, and "Sexual Predator" are the only ones I've come across, but I've just recently started looking.

My best advice is to scroll up and use the "search" feature.  Type in "Secretary".  You'll get many, many, many different hits.

I love "The Secretary". It seems to be on TV about every 3 or 4 months. I also enjoyed "The Story of O"

I think there was a movie about the "Gor" books. Underworld is also a good movie if you like Latex :)

I love Secretary...I became a real James Spader fan after watching that movie.  Of course i had to watch it several times before i realized the metaphor behind S&M....and it was still good.

Try "The Image" (original title, "The Punishment of Ann"). It's a 1975 French movie about D/s and BDSM. Good script, dialog, and production values. And get's into some rather kinky aspects of BDSM and D/s. I recommend it highly.

I'd agree the book is better.  The original film is still good though and well worth watching.  The later version, 'The story of O, untold pleasures' didn't do anything for me though!

I liked part of the Secretary, but thought some of it was over the top.  Damage, I need to watch it again, it's not bdsm, but it has good themes of infidelity and family dysfunction.

The book is 100times better.


If the book is 100 times better, then the film must have REALLY been horrendous, because the book was the absolute WORST I've ever read in ANY genre.  O was an insipid twit, Rene was a simpering fool, and Stephen was a mere caricature of what a dominant is supposed to be.  The fact that they had to trick women into becoming slaves made them even more pathetic.
 
Secretary, on the other hand, was an excellent film.  So was 9 1/2 weeks, which made me a huge Mickey Rourke fan.

Maîtresse, Mano Destra, Romance, The Piano Teacher, The Night Porter, Bais Moi (not exactly BDSM but near enough) and a comedy Preaching To The Perverted (which i haven't seen). I guess La Belle De Jour also fits.

Tie Me Up, Tie Me Down, while this film doesn't exactly fit into a BDSM category it has many of the ingredients.

i have to say the "Secretary" was a wonderful movie. my Protector recommended the movie to me, so i bought it. i had to watch the movie twice in one day it was so good.
  i mean this girl goes from someone who had a rough life, liked cutting almost seemed as if life was nothing anymore, to getting this job learning submission, through this she flowers into a young woman with a voice, a woman who has become in touch with herself and who she is. it truly is an inspiring movie  that can teach a submissive a great deal, especially a lesson on a submissive having a voice, yes it needs to be used properly, but a sub always has a voice.
Truly a wonderful movie.

wonderful movie..watched it several time..although there isnt enough movies or books to go far enough without the vanilla ppl thinking its too hmm pervert or something. this one worrys about my book once i finish it if i ever get it to publish...i know those wont like it but you guys would love it.... that is if im lucky enough to get it done! ciao

My fantasy of being humiliated is to be stripped in front of 15 girls at a party, put on a leash and paraded for everyone's view. An addition may be to be ordered to beg everyone to give a stamp and signature on ass. Of course, it will certify that everybody has seen the ASS clearly . WHOOO Jeffie, that was way too much sharing.

My litle one has a friend (who knowsabout BDSM and our involvement)  who kept telling my little one she should watch it, her coment was, "I am not lilke that, but I felt things watching".  After we watched the movie, I remarked if she was feeling things then she is alot more like that then she wants to admit.  My little one squirmed all the way through watching it, lol.
