Hi, I'm Devidasi. I'm 28 and I currently live in Virginia Beach, VA - but I grew up in the Pacific Northwest. (I was raised by hippies!)
My handle here, Devidasi, means roughly "female servant of the feminine divine." Its an Indian term (Indian as from India, not American Indian.) However, it has come to mean something akin to "prostitute." I like the idea, the archetype of the "Sacred Whore" and the whole saint/sinner dichotomy.
I've been reading about and studying the lifestyle for about a year and half now. Haven't had much experience except for some spankings and breath control. I'm fascinated with the ritualistic aspect of BDSM, particularly because I'm very into the occult. I think BDSM provides some very interesting and important avenues for sex magic. (Which, by the way, I'm writing a book about.)
I'm thrilled with how the site has developed since I last had an account. I was here about a year ago with the username Malparadisio. I didn't have a lot of good experiences at that time, but this time is much different. I've made some good friends and I'm excited about all the changes that have been made here.
Right now I'm mostly looking for experiences with BDSM and people I can trust to have those experiences with. I want to know what a submissive should be getting from the experience so that I can become a good domme. I see the potential relationships as initiate/accolyte and mentor. I'd like to learn how to guide others through this process to healing and self-realization.
I'm looking forward to meeting a lot more people here and making new friends.
