No wonder they needed to raise their premiums so much. Between the pay increase and the millions dumped into lobbying they needed a little boost. Somehow I had the misconception that they were supposed to use most of your premium money on actual health care. Anyone else out there that got a 51% raise last year? Angela Braly: WellPoint CEO Pay Jumps By 51 Percent NEW YORK — The president and CEO of health insurer WellPoint Inc. received a 51 percent boost in compensation in 2009, mainly on larger grants of stock options and a performance bonus as profit and shares gained ground. The Democrats could have given us a better bill so in my opinion the least she can do is give Barack and some of the Dems like Ben Nelson, Joe Lieberman and Blanche Lincoln a tip since we didn't get the public option.

It is interesting how history repeats itself in cycles. Before French revolution during feudalism some people spent more on single dinner than most made for the full year. Corporatism is something old new grown out of capitalism. New aristocracy takes what is theirs.
