PORTLAND – About two dozen women marched topless from Longfellow Square to Tommy's Park this afternoon in an effort to erase what they see as a double standard on male and female nudity.

Ty McDowell, who organized the march, said she was "enraged" by the turnout of men attracted to the demonstration. The purpose, she said, was for society to have the same reaction to a woman walking around topless as it does to men without shirts on.

However, McDowell said she plans to organize similar demonstrations in the future and said she would be more "aggressive" in discouraging oglers.

I'm lost.  Does she mean that if there was an announced parade of unshirted men, that no women would turn out to gawk?  I bet that they would.

Amazing that she put this together without getting nailed for indecent exposure, and is still unhappy with the results.

According to the article, it's only indecent exposure in Maine if the genitals are exposed.  Which leads Me to wonder what her point of the march really was.

GoTopless

folks created latex pasties that resembled nipples for the march in Venice Beach and passed them out to whomever wanted to join in. the men who participated were requested to wear bras or bikini tops.

this slave thinks it's a great idea and hopes Master will allow her to be a part of upcoming topless marches!

Status: offline 		I walked around topless one year at Eeroye's Party in Austin.  I did have latex paint covering the nipples (2 tulips).  When I got back home and took my shirt off, my Lizard thought it was cool and wants to do it this year.  I had to tell her that only when she is of legal age.

Now she has a 3 year calendar counting the days...

Remind me to keep her on a leash at that time...
