You know, I never DID get around to doing this to her... I think I still have the supplies in storage... (rubs hands together, then hit's OK to bump the thread and see if anyone new has some insight or interest in the subject)

AFlyInYourWeb -> RE: Forced Robotification (1/2/2008 3:13:04 PM)

Be careful you don't end up with a robot like "Bender".  [;)]

bipolarber -> RE: Forced Robotification (1/2/2008 3:25:55 PM)

The R/C dog trainer is fine for the "punishment" side of it, but you might also want to get an R/C egg vibe for the "reward" side of the play....

I also think the poster who suggested the walkie talkie built into a set of over -the -ear headphones was also on the right track. Reduce their sensory input, while invreasing your presence!

Depending on your budget, you could just go with a spandex dancewear jumpsuit, to painting your "robot" with liquid latex.

When you do your scene, you'll want the appropriate music: might I suggest "Kraftwerk?"

KindLadyGrey -> RE: Forced Robotification (1/2/2008 3:33:11 PM)

It is so funny that I just pounced you for being a LARPer, because this exact topic has been on my mind because of LARP. I've got a nocker character in a Changeling LARP who is making herself a robot lover, and I found myself thinking "I wonder if I could get my boy to come to game with me and be my robot lover. . .hmmm, how would I train him to do that?"

So this thread? Seriously awesome. Thanks for bumping it :)

If you like naked robots (and who doesn't?), you can get some metallic body paint and paint circuit board diagrams all over her body. LEDs are pretty cheap anywhere you go, so you could even partially wire her with real wire and electronics components using a little liquid latex. If you wanted to invest a little more money, you could wire in a chip so you could control the lights with the press of a button or switch, also wired to her body. If you needed her to be a robot decent for public consumption, you could still use the same ideas if she was dressed rather skimpily.

Also, a very important part of this idea is the part where you send me pictures.

That's just costuming though. If you want to take the scene past role playing, I also recommend embedding some unconscious robot like commands through behavioral modification techniques. Same sort of stuff that you do to teach a sub to cum on command, except these would be more mundane and less sexual things.

I'm really hot to wire my boy up like a robot now. . .

EDIT: And now everyone who forum stalks me knows what a giant geek I am. . .oh no!

Suleiman -> RE: Forced Robotification (1/3/2008 4:23:34 PM)

Glad you like it KLG. Your knocker sounds like fun. Big cardboard wind-up keys are a great way to do the semi-magical living doll concept. Actually, come to think of it, I did do something similar to this using a ragdoll costume last year, which I suppose is a subcategory of the same sort of deal. Something else I've considered (but will take some R&D to put into effect) is a variant on the duct tape and clingwrap corset, using aluminum tape to create a fitted metallic shell. But then, we both think corseting is fun.

Danger, Will Robinson.

domiguy -> RE: Forced Robotification (1/3/2008 4:40:03 PM)

I would attempt some sort of a frontal lobotomy....I never researched such a procedure but how hard could it actually be?

Judging from many of the threads of late it would seem that never have so many operated on so little. Just a little scramble here and a poke there and what little brains that were actually functional should be nullified.

Are there sites about this fetish?

Robot fetish in brief (exerpted from "Deviant Desires" by Katherine Gates)

What they call themselves: Technophiles

Internet search keywords: Robot, mannequin, technophile

What it is: Fantasies about owning or being transformed into a robot, mannequin, or doll.

What it is not: Technophiles aren't interested in "real" sex dolls, androids, or mannequins so much as the performance of being robot-like.

What they do: Whatch grade-B movies, create costumes, perform as mimes, pretend to be an object.

Related fetishes: Immobilization (esp. mannequins), female mask fetish, fursuiting

I am going to just say one thing here about that last line... I know a couple on both sides of the fence, and the fursuiting ones would be rather put off that you put them in the same paragraph with the technophiles and I dare say the same in reverse but since I do neither, I don't care that you did.. but I WILL be laughing my ass off when I speak to them.

On to the techno's.  I've a friend that uses "programming" mp3's to get the person being "robotized" into the right frame of mind.  But if you are actually going to pretend she is a human in a robot suite pretending to be a robot, its not the same thing.

At that point, you could probably use some kind of body paint that has a metallic or glitter tint.  If you need "boxy" you could use cardboard boxes in a pinch, there are some very sturdy ones on the market used for shipping.

Good luck and have fun!

Lady Jag

PsyVamp -> RE: Forced Robotification (1/3/2008 6:13:48 PM)

Also: .. there are spandex suits that cover the whole body and I think you can get them "metallic".. that would give you a humanoid without specific facial features.

:)

Not I, dearie. An exerpt is so called because it was taken in brief from somewhere else. In this case, any offended parties can go yell at Ms.Gates. Frankly, I know plenty of folks on both sides of the fence, and many who blur the lines. Folks who are offended because they don't want to be equated with those people over there just make me want to smack them. By all means, laugh your ass off. Get in a giggle for me while you're at it.

Thank you for the MP3 suggestion. You're right that it's not quite right for the specific scenario I brought up in the original post, but that's just one scene.

Speaking of laughing my flabby white tuchus off, nice sig.

Amaros -> RE: Forced Robotification (1/3/2008 9:33:30 PM)

Not to be a wet blanket, but painting someone in liquid latex is fucking dangerous, you can die if the skin isn't allowed to breathe - same with greasepaint, etc.

If you need to change colors, you need to look at dyes or even inks, not paints, Henna or something similar, it'll last longer and won't smear - shave her bald and paint little circut designs all over her or some shit, be happy to do a sketch, maybe something Gigerish, depending on how good you are with a paintbrush/pen.

Suleiman -> RE: Forced Robotification (1/3/2008 10:04:56 PM)

If your skin isn't allowed to breathe, you can overheat, but you won't "fucking die". Latex, grease paint, et cetra, are not life-threatening. For crying out loud, that got debunked back in the eighties, and every few years somebody goes after it again. Mythbusters made the latest attempt at putting a stake through the heart of that one, and that was a few years ago.

Exquemelin -> RE: Forced Robotification (1/3/2008 10:09:06 PM)

Um, mostly I'd read these http://www.mcstories.com/Tags/rb.html

Amaros -> RE: Forced Robotification (1/3/2008 10:22:38 PM)

Depends on how long you intend to leave it on - are you saying you can't die from overheating? This sounds like it might go longer than a few hours, or days, which presumably are going to include considerable physical activity. The skin also absorbs things in contact with it - at the very least you need to get an MSDS on whatever you're using, and test it on an inconspicuous area for allergic reactions.

CuriousLord -> RE: Forced Robotification (1/4/2008 1:37:03 AM)

I'm seeing tin foil, cardboard boxes.. a coat hanger in tin foil on top..

Or, if you mean a slightly less frugile budget.. light sheet metal frame soddered together.. some drilled holes with LED's in them (little flashing lights).. perhaps a trashed curcuit board or minor components attached as decoration..

If you have an a somewhat considerable budget in mind..
-Remote control hooked up to open/close holes for eyes.
-Joints of the metalic frame lock in place via remote control.
-Doors (sliding or opening) to genital areas/breasts open by command on remote control.

Alright, I need sleep.. but I can see that, if this works for you, you really have some options.

MissMagnolia -> RE: Forced Robotification (1/4/2008 1:46:27 AM)

Stand her in a corner and make her wave her arms around saying "Danger Will Robinson. Danger"??

CuriousLord -> RE: Forced Robotification (1/4/2008 1:51:01 AM)

Looks like you and Aileen were on the same wavelength here. ;)

Okay, I'll laugh for the  both of us.
Needless to say my friend made some MP3's for me.  They are a few of my favorite things because, even though I don't make a good robot, they can stand on their own as hot in a really odd sort of way.

There are voice programs that can talk out what you type, those are what he used to make the files.

petpete -> RE: Forced Robotification (1/4/2008 8:25:04 PM)

A cheap way of achieving this is to take the old memory chips of your computer and plug them up his/her ass... Then get the old mouse and tie it around his balls... Make sure you ram the memory now and then with an upgrade size [sm=hewah.gif]...
