Maybe the man was just trying to see what he could get away with and how vulnerable you are to his bullying. If you were not impressed with him, then block him. This sounds so similar to the game young men play with young women, the "If you really love me you'll let me make love to you" game. Thereby the young woman is supposed to give in to PROVE her love. You are a grown up. Don't give in to sophomoric games.

There are a lot of scammers on here as with any web site of this type and this man seems as though he's had his share of them and maybe been strung along once or twice. The thing that stands out is that after you offered to do it another time he insisted on it right then. Whatever...be glad you're rid of him, I would be. Given the environment, it seems reasonable that the guy asked if you'd cam in order to validate your identity. It's also reasonable on your part to offer to do so when you've had time to clean up and feel presentable. If he didn't want to wait for that, it's not so reasonable any more.

True, this thread IS from a female perspective. There are quite a few fakes on this (or any) site, and I can understand requesting verification after a reasonable period of time or conversation, but I definitely would NOT share photos or cam when there's no guarantee that I'll get anything from the effort. Yes, I am pragmatic. No, being firm about this policy doesn't seem to limit my options. I've received I don't know how many messages from outrageously attractive 'women' wanting to trade hot pictures, and none of these seemed legit. We girls are more likely to receive messages demanding photos to 'prove' we're female, and I've had a couple 'dom's try to convince me that I must be male since I won't share another pic in the first message. I have had pictures stolen before so I prefer to be discreet, and anyone who doesn't understand a reluctance to share personal information or images without any reciprocity really isn't someone I want to be involved with anyway. If they won't share pictures either, they're probably an old ugly guy in search of wank material like me. Oops, did that just slip out?! [sm=couch.gif]

I can understand-since a lot of people might get fired for putting up a picture where someone vindictive could refer an employer to it. At the same time ..there are a LOT of desperate men looking for wanking material anywhere they can find it. Or just bored to tears and wanting to yank chains for laughs. Patience and making people earn things usually gets rid of these sorts quickly.

Basically he proved himself incompatible with you very early on. Be grateful for that! You don't have to waste anymore time on him. If you won't turn on a cam unless the other person will first, so be it. You will miss talking to some people you might have liked, but this is what works for you. And since what you want is a relationship that works for you, do what you know does work for you. Personally I see no reason to exchange pics until you've talked enough with them enough to know you want to meet them for coffee. Which could well be after three whole days. At that point arrange for both of you to wear a white carnation in your buttonholes and meet at your local Starbucks.

SexySea, The guy, possibly a pubescent boy, was trying to see "more of you" if you were willing to show it. It's a ploy to try and see you naked, and it's been used a million times.
