You just hit on an interesting concept, at least from a political point of view. What would happen if some Dems started showing up at various conservative or independent rallies with birther signs? Wouldn't that cast that light on the overall group in attendance? Seems like a pretty shrewd move to make if one is wanting to make a certain political movement look like they are just fringe nuts. No?

Thadius, I'm  definitely starting to worry about you.

You keep slowly drifting into conspiracy theory territory.

And I think this forum already has its fair share of conspiracy theorists.

I am just saying it wouldn't surprise me, and hell it wouldn't be a bad move politically speaking to tar the opposition. No need to worry about me, I am firmly grounded in reality.

I will assume you meant "thread" and not "threat"....but anyhows, please explain how my posting what I think about birthers is an attempt to derail a thread about..........birthers?

1st) You assumed I agree with the birthers, which I don't, and have made fun of them in the past, and

2nd) Your cheap personal attack as seen here...
quote:

Oh and by the way....I am so not ashamed.I have nothing to be ashamed about, its not me clinging to some pseudo-racist agenda here,it's not me longing for the pre Civil Rights bill days of old glorious racist America....that would be you, right?

Where you accuse me of being racist, which in itself is a joke. I dare you to prove I've posted a single racist thing, but you can't, can you?

That makes you a Troll

Next time post an opinion about the article linked, and not about the poster posting the link, and maybe you'll lose the troll moniker.

Why would I want to lose the moniker......being labeled a "troll" by the likes of you is an honor...lol
Now go back and read my first response to you....in case you missed it that was an opinion, one that was directed at anyone who clings or otherwise adheres to this rediculous notion.Whether or not you like the opinion is quite irrelevant to me...as stated previously, and perhaps I wasn't clear enough, your opinion of me is of absolutely no concern to me
One last thing,I am under no obligation to prove you are a racist...this is not a court of law....on the other hand I am allowed to form an opinion, one that is based on the entirety of your postings...and buddy in my opinion the only thing you are missing is a white sheet and a burning cross....this is ,after all is said and done just my opinion and matters not a whit....so feel free to sit on the prch, kick your feet up and tell some stories about the good old days(pre 1965) when everyone knew their place.
No skin off my nose.

I agree, this dog just don't hunt. If this is the best folks can come up with to go after the man, it says very much about the people chasing these stories.

There are far more legitimate things to debate and disagree with than whether he is an American or not. For the record polling shows that more people believe that Elvis is still alive than what the birthers claim.

Yeah, even if I were hugely "anti-Obama", I would think the notoriety of the birther issue would merely hurt the Republicans. Just as the neo-cons want to label Obama as Marxist due to his choice of church, so the conservatives should fear being labeled as time-wasting crackpots by association with the birthers.

Smarter people will pick their battles more wisely if they truly want change: the all-important "swing" votes tend to move toward the candidates who appear least bizarre or extreme. The birthers merely help brand the conservatives as vituperative and bitter and petty - and extreme. I cannot see the birther "controversy" attracting voters on the fence. Rather, it is just group masturbation for the believers. Better that they march topless in Maine to protest nudity discrimination...

Heheh. Oddly, fringe nuts are defining politics more and more these days. But I like your idea. Kinda like posing as a pimp in an acorn office :)

If you say you are not a racist, then I believe you, but I do believe you and your ilk to be sore losers. Obama won the election fair and square and people like you will grasp at any straw to challenge the legitimacy of the candidate or the election. Why are conservatives like this? I remember when Clinton beat Bush Conservatives stopped at nothing to challenge the legitimacy of that election. It's getting old. Get over it already.

Question his policies, of course. The rest of this nonsense is just crying over spilled milk.

Or reading his post in the "what do tea baggers really want" thread.....he posted they wanted a return to an America of post WWII and pre '65 vintage....now add that information and this birther nonsense to his profile pic...and in my opinion I have as much information as I need to draw a picture for myself...and the one I come up with includes Grand dragons(or are the "wizards"?) ,white sheets and burning crosses.

In other words, I can't prove you're racist, but I can call you racist all I want, because I'm a douche like that.

Frankly, it amuses me that I piss you and Domiass off so much, because, unlike you two lemmings, I don't side with the liberals, or conservatives, I think they're all corrupt pieces of shit, and have pledged to vote out ALL incumbents.

The good old days when unions were for the little guy, schools taught trades, which turned out kids with skills, and America was the leader in production, innovation, and a strong middle class..

Maybe, just maybe that's the America Tea Parties want back. But no, like the typical race baiting liberal you are, everything comes down to the color of one's skin.

Michael Savage is right, Liberalism is a mental disorder.

You have never pissed me off or upset me. You are too insignificant to achieve that lofty kind of a goal.

You are a tiny little man that lives in Indiana and is a racist too boot.

You are a nothing.
