Yeah, even if I were hugely "anti-Obama", I would think the notoriety of the birther issue would merely hurt the Republicans. Just as the neo-cons want to label Obama as Marxist due to his choice of church, so the conservatives should fear being labeled as time-wasting crackpots by association with the birthers.

Smarter people will pick their battles more wisely if they truly want change: the all-important "swing" votes tend to move toward the candidates who appear least bizarre or extreme. The birthers merely help brand the conservatives as vituperative and bitter and petty - and extreme. I cannot see the birther "controversy" attracting voters on the fence. Rather, it is just group masturbation for the believers. Better that they march topless in Maine to protest nudity discrimination...

Or reading his post in the "what do tea baggers really want" thread.....he posted they wanted a return to an America of post WWII and pre '65 vintage....now add that information and this birther nonsense to his profile pic...and in my opinion I have as much information as I need to draw a picture for myself...and the one I come up with includes Grand dragons(or are the "wizards"?) ,white sheets and burning crosses.

Now go back and read my first response to you....in case you missed it that was an opinion,one that was directed at anyone who clings or otherwise adheres to this rediculous notion.Whether or not you like the opinion is quite irrelevant to me...as stated previously,and perhaps I wasn't clear enough,your opinion of me is of absolutely no concern to me
One last thing,I am under no obligation to prove you are a racist...this is not a court of law....on the other hand I am allowed to form an opinion,one that is based on the entirety of your postings...and buddy in my opinion the only thing you are missing is a white sheet and a burning cross....this is ,after all is said and done just my opinion and matters not a whit....so feel free to sit on the prch,kick your feet up and tell some stories about the good old days(pre 1965) when everyone knew their place.
