Status: offline 		I think that's a lot of what it's about...most women like to use their imaginations.....we like to write a story and really get into it. I mean the pic you described I could write a whole fantasy in my head within minutes and want to know more about the guy that could spark such fantasies (actually that's how my hubby caught me....lol)

while most of the guys, they pretty much want things laid on the table (oh here come the puns..lol)  I mean you never really see much of a story line in porn...lol

Status: offline 		The CM censors are surprisingly puritanical when it comes to male nudity -- they usually won't allow it. They seem to be much more accepting of racy female pictures.

I'm not sure why the double standard but maybe that reflects women's view that pornographic male nudity is threatening or disgusting. Ironically dominant females don't hesitate to order their subs to get naked. Go figure that!

Status: offline 		I'm not so much into a standard ass shot. Cause everyone's got a butt. Now, I like a nicely done art nude from any angle, but really, I like a good face picture, maybe a couple,  to show different expressions.

I do like the welted and bruised ass pictures but not because I like the picture so much as that that guarantees that he probably won't run screaming when I pick up the dragon's tongue, and so that's more of a compatibility statement.

I'm sure you are aware that the moderators here are volunteers. They don't generally go around *looking* for photos to yank. They rely on the members to report the photos. Perhaps the disparity is due to how the genders are wired.

Men tend to enjoy the racy photos of women, so men don't report the photos. Women don't enjoy the in-your-face-shots, and report them as offensive, so they get pulled.

I wouldn't blame CM for the imbalance. Instead, men should consider it a clue.

ETA: Personally, I don't go around looking for images to report. I generally don't care what photos people use to represent themselves. Quite frankly, it allows me the ability to move along faster, rather than investing too much time with someone I likely wouldn't find compatible.

However, when someone sends me an unsolicited photo that I consider vulgar, or if it is their main profile pic and it's in my face when I log on, I will report the photo. What they have as secondary photos doesn't matter to me in the slightest and I won't report any secondary photos no matter how vulgar I may consider them.

Status: offline 		The problem with being sent an ass shot is that, while I actively enjoy and seek out asses that belong to certain people, most people's anuses and junk are simply not things I requested to see. Its very presumptuous on the part of the writer that his gaping hole is so special as to entice a lady seeking "chemistry" and a "soulmate". Perhaps the anus is the new window to the soul and I failed to get the memo. More likely, the guy just didn't care to read the profile, and if this sort of inattentiveness is how he makes your acquaintance, chances are he'll be clueless about how to serve you or conduct any sort of relationship.

I think that word is key: tasteful.

Whether I am impressed or unimpressed by a nude photo in profiles of men or women depends on how I perceive the photo to reflect on judgment and taste.

Status: offline 		Well, I guess I am in the minority on this, but I do enjoy looking at pics of a nice back and ass. But I agree that "tasteful" is the key here - standing up, hands at the side, very nice, but bent over or otherwise overtly sexual, not so much, at least for me.
