In new policy guidelines released this week, Fannie Mae told servicers that they can no longer name MERS as the plaintiff in any foreclosure action, whether judicial or non-judicial, on a mortgage loan owned or securitized by the GSE/snip


This is a HUGE deal!   Wow.

My thoughts are that the judges are getting pissed off over the whole MERS scam.
They had no choice but to back down.

Keep in mind a 2nd wave of foreclosures is upon us- including commercial.

Ild guess some here do not know what MERS is.   Simply put- it is a way to bypass your house deed at your county court house- in the name of expediency.  (which led to games with papers, liens and so forth)
