For many years I've heard stories of women who really enjoy the process of emasculating and feminizing males and then having them serves as domestics.

Who have you heard these stories from? I would say consider your source. If it is from someone you actually know, ask to meet someone who they know has done this. If it is from random people, or online reading, then the liklihood is that they are fairly fictional stories.

As many of the others have mentioned, femenization is the bottom's kink, not usually the tops. For those who believe it is humiliation some may try it on occasion, but on average it is not a wide practice among dominants. Forced femenization is even less common, as much of a fantasy as it might be, because once you ask for it it is no longer forced but thats a whole different set of threads

My interest in femenizing my partner is specific to the partner and the relationship, not just a general interest overall to any who come calling. Not everyone is suitable for femenization, not everyone looks good femenized and I have absolutely no interest in a parody of my own gender serving me. If I want a female, I'll get a genetic female, or a passable TS/TV rather than take a male and try and fit him into a female role.

I think that what needs to be said has already been said, so I will just add that owning your gender identity yourself and not expecting someone else to force it on you is, IMO, the best way to proceed into a relationship with a dominant Lady.  I understand that this can be hard for some guys to do.  Doesn't change reality however.

Please see my profile at Sissy Chat City.com and see if you can help me

I agree wholeheartedly with the points made here, I think many sissies are self centered and besides dressing do not have sufficient interests in other aspects of power exchange to make it worthwhile. However I have found at least when it comes to Pro dommes there is less emphasis on this fetish than say a decade ago when I first starting playing. It would seem that the weaknesses of dressers (topping from the bottom, trying to follow a script, blurring fantasy and reality) also haev tuned off potential play partners. Finally I think the difficulty some have in sticking with and growing in their feminization interest is another factor. Many subs will purge their clothes several times before realizing that they are who they think they are and also not being able to move forward with basic steps like shaving, dieting, learning feminine mannerisms, walking in heels, perhaps a skill like cooking that would make this more attractive.

I don't know why you have the perception that it is only pro-dommes who feminize men.  I have met several in person and several dozen online who do this.  In fact I met my Mistress in one of the chat rooms here on collarme.

Yes indeed. I don't care about clothing except in a functional way. I am exactly the wrong person to try to get worried about whether or not the sub is wearing pink or blue panties when he is cooking dinner. Mainly because I really prefer my slaves naked unless mundane social norms apply.

atypicalsub -> RE: Feminization (4/12/2010 10:47:47 PM)

This is how I am now serving a lesbian Domme.  She accepted me because she understands that having someone to nurture and encourage my feminine side is more important to me than having sex with a woman.

I think you'll find that what Peon and Smutmonger have said is very true and very accurate. If you are looking for someone to feminize you, you will have trouble with that. If you are looking for someone to act out the stories that you have read, you will have even more trouble with it. However, if you are looking for someone who will accept that you have a feminine side that you want to explore/expand while you serve her - you'll have a lot more luck.

atypicalsub -> RE: Feminization (4/12/2010 11:01:22 PM)

Again agreeing.  My Mistress encourages my feminine side constantly, although there are only occational opportunities for me to dress up.  In fact this is exactly how most most middle class women go through life.  When I go to the grocery store I'm wearing jeans, exactly the same as most of the biological women who are there.  It's great when I can dress up for a party or a night out at a club but 28 days out of the month most women I know wear jeans and sneakers.  Obviously being feminine isn't about the clothes, because even when I'm in jeans and a t-shirt the store employees usualy ask, "can I help you Ma'am?"

LOL!  I get that "ma'am" or "can I help you ladies?" too sometimes.  Mostly from the back as my hair is long and no matter how 'guy' I try to make it, it curls and from the back I look quite androgynous.

You know, it's not that feminization can't or should not happen, but I think that if you expect a dominant Lady to take an active part in it, you are going to have to find a pretty rare person.  My Lady isn't really "into it", she is into "me being into it".  I agree that most days clothing is just regular wear.  I wear girl jeans all the time now and they are almost indistinguishable from guy jeans.  Knowing that they say "size 12 ladies" in them makes -me- feel better.

The other night we went to a kinky b-day party for a friend and I got to wear my new little Bon Jovi ribbon corset top with sparklies and a little black skirt and thigh highs...I felt like a little groupy girl!  [;)]  None of it forced...every bit of it the continuation of a dream that is my life today.

Own it, take it, live it.  [:)]

Sadly there are no pics, but here is the Bon Jovi top! - http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=380214701617&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

SylvereApLeanan -> RE: Feminization (4/13/2010 12:01:42 PM)

Now that is surely a tragedy.  With a top that cute, there should be pictures.

atypicalsub -> RE: Feminization (4/14/2010 11:55:49 PM)

There is a difference between men's and women's jeans, they are cut differently particularly in the hips and butt.  I've been aware since I was a teenager that girls jeans fit me better.  I've been told I have a very feminine shape, especially my legs and butt.
