I got some amazing pictures of some bruising that happened while caning.  They were, unfortunately deep, but they captured very well on film.

I would find someone that is good with a cane.  These leave the best marks on me.

Dave at http://www.declinegothica.co.uk/ does mainly Goth photography but he knowns a fair number of fetsh photographers and he's a sound guy so if you mail and ask him I am sure he will be able to point you in the right direction for some of the UK fetish photographers.

I find small wood paddles,sturdy canes and poly stingers, work best. Make sure you are skilled with using these impliments, as they can cause very deep tissue brusing and or injury.

Master hardly ever leaves bruises on me with a cane, welts yes, welts that last a long time yes, visually spectacular yes, he uses rattan, so if your gonna go the cane route perhaps find out what type and style does the bruise effect that people are mentioning.  A heavy paddle can make my ass black and blue, a heavy paddle creates bruise heaven *grin*
