Ah the rituals of spring in our peaceful pagan community

Maybe it's best not to list your victim as "sacrifice" in the cell phone directory?

Gee ... since one self-described "Wiccan" did something evil ... does this mean that all Wiccans are evil?

I mean, since that seems to be the way Christian's are dealt with and all, ya know ...

If it's good enough for muslims, I have no idea what christians are whining about over that one, frankly.

So Wiccan's are all bad, all commit murder and are all nut cases? That is if we follow the labeling of christians as all these things because of a few nut cases.

It's facile to use a psychotic minority to tar the rest of a religion in any case. I was just pointing out that this kind of reductive approach seems to be perfectly acceptable when it's aimed at montheistic desert religions that loathe women and the flesh other than christianity. Given some of the comments a few people on here are in the habit of making about jews, I find it a bit rum that people are pissing and moaning about dismissing christianity in those terms, while they're perfectly happy to have jews described as zionist conspirators who use elected governments as their sock puppets and are lying about the holocaust ever happening, or state that all muslims, without exception, support the jihadists because none of them have gone on record as saying owt against al queda. If it's acceptable to talk about jews and muslims that way, then I really don't see why christians should expect to be treated any more fairly by people who don't share their beliefs.

(And just for the record, I've yet to meet a wiccan who wasn't so bloody wet that they'd slit their own throat rather than murder somebody else even if they were faced with the sort of provocation that Michael Winner laid on Charles Bronson's character in Death Wish. Wiccans are a bit too liberal and a lot too feminist for that, in my experience, though it's nice that people who are into femdom have their own religion as well as the closet cases who are into Crowley.)

Last I knew, evil and nutcase, comes in all flavours.

I detest catholicism and most organized religiouns. I think the current pope is a moron. That doesn't mean I detest everyone that follows those religiouns. However misguided I might think they are. I just don't agree with their faith.

Just because a person is a dominant woman does not mean they subscribe to the wiccan ideology! It's pretty much a hard limit for me.

You do get a lot of wiccan dommes, I've noticed.
Mind you, you get a lot of male dominants who obviously wanted to be him out of The Devil Rides Out when they grew up as well.
I'd hope everybody on here is aware of the roots of wicca in Gardner inventing a religion from scratch in the '40s because he found the thelemic tradition (particularly as done by Crowley in the Golden Dawn) far too male for his taste?

So Nazis are all bad, just because they share a violent, anti-semitic, homophobic belief system and agenda?

So Muslims are all bad because they share a violent, anti-semitic, homophobic, sexist belief system and agenda?

Yanno,I once, after talking with a particular Domme on here...went to Tenn.to visit her for a week.It was prearranged and negotiated that we would share a road trip to Ohio...where she was to officiate at a wiccan Wedding...well being a nice Irish Catholic boy(fallen mind you or perhaps lapsed...way lapsed)was more that a little skeptical about the whole thing.I actually feared my ability to keep a straigh face during the ceremony.
Well glory be to Jesus if it wasn't an amasing ceremony...and didn't I sit there taking note of all sorts of Catholic rituals....rituals that were "borrowed" from the  wiccan/pagan religions in an attempt to make conversion easier.
All in all it was very dignified and all in touch with our natural world...I left that ceremony impressed to no end....being basically against all formal religion....I din't convert....but neither did I notice too many possible knife wielding murderess's

Fuck...Scrambling for phone to delete "slut for non-consensual sodomy"

You see, my phone allows me to put in really long names in the directory.....uhmmm....Yeah................................chirp................................chirp..................Ermm, ahhh it is the only way that the joke would make any sense. It wouldn't really be the least bit funny if I said that I had to go delete...Slut for non-consensu.

So I made a reach. Big fucking deal. Fuck you. Fuck you and all the little wiccans and christians on this planet.....Cocksucking assholes!!!

Mike, the knife wielding occurs at the after the party ceremony. Basicly if you aint a member and you are there, you are as the phone described it the "sacrifice".

Must be the after, after party Thad...because I attended the "reception" and as you can plainly see...I'm still here.
Though there were a few points during that week that I sure felt like a "sacrifice"....all in a good "suck the blood right out of my marrow" way of course

Why,perhaps I phrased it wrong. All I was saying is during part of the ceremony they invoked the  basic elements of nature ...fire ,water ,air and fire....it was all done very dignified and actually tasteful,There was something about watching it all that made me feel like this was how my ancestors might have held the ceremony. As I said seeing some of the origins of Catholic traditions and ceremony was not exactly rocket science....it was right there for anyone with half a brain to see....luckily I qualified,if just barely

Usually it's "earth, air, fire, and water."

I'd add smoke. Every engineer knows that once you let the smoke out of something, it stops working!
