I'm sure neocons who claim to be corruption police will now stalk Hannity for years and try to destroy his career by using extreme video editing techniques (the way they did ACORN). Right?

In the wake of disturbing revelations first unveiled, in all fairness, by nutter Debbie Schlussel, a major charity watchdog group has dropped its previous four star rating of Freedom Alliance, the Sean Hannity and Oliver North-associated charity that spends very little of its revenue on what it is intended for -- scholarships and financial aid to wounded veterans.

Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, which filed a complaint with the FTC and the IRS over what appears to be a big scam, reports on the news on its blog.

What kind of charities do they have in Canada? Are they well run? Who keeps on eye on them to make sure the funds are going to the right places?

It suffered the same fate the last time it was brought up.
Three charities in ontario lost their tax exempt status with Canada Revenue Agency in the past five years.
There are watchdogs outside of CRA that look into their standings, credibility, but all three charities uncovered  were uncovered by the Toronto Star here in Ontario.
Other provinces have their own "watchdogs"

And brain didn't provide a link. Gosh if I didn't know better, I would think he didn't give a shit about the people getting ripped off by the charities and was just looking for another way to take a jab at the us and the right in particular.
