Congrats to your son! Although definitely not a Yankees fan, it would be beyond cool to have my graduation in Yankee Stadium! (Although I'd prefer Fenway as someone else mentioned;))

In actuality LadyA,he and just about anyone else who knows me well...knows I spend large blocs of time arguing politics on the 'net...so this isn't really the problem I made it out to be.
They just have no idea of what site I am on....lol.
This way the far and near part gets in there too ;-)

Well Countrychick being this is NYU...they needed a grown ups ballpark...so that little bandbox in Boston was out of the question...what with the student body and family and all.But thanks for the Congrats...even if you are confused where baseball is concerned ;-)

I don't know you from Adam, but it's nice to see a father so proud of his son. It's also nice to see a son who deserves his father's pride so much--NYU is one of the very best schools around, and it's not just tough to get in, it's also tough to get through. Getting through with excellent grades and involvement in fun side projects takes some pretty serious talent and some even more serious determination.

Really awfully happy for both of you.

For someone who doesn't "know me from adam" you hit the nail on the head where the pride is concerned....though I think I might have made that pretty obvious over the last couple of pages.You nailed my son and his accomplishments on the button too.....thanks for the good thoughts. ;-)

Nah,intenze...no kink site notification....but it is really quiete simple to say "my friends from the 'net wished you well".

If you give him my number I can hook him up with a totally awesome 1952 Hudson Hornet. It has mohair interior and is painted fire engine red and best of all it has twin 14" Borlas that are guarenteed to set off everyones car alarm from a half mile away.

Oh shit yeah...walking down Ventura Boulevard with a pony would be fine....trying to enter the freeway as the cars go flying by at 80 mph would be a horse of a different color
