Im 18 a sub male from NJ. Im just curious is that taboo or is any some one actually intrested in an 18 sub?

I'm sure many people might be interested, but these things take time. Part of the problem is simply the male/female courtship dichotomy. In our society (and in fact perhaps universally) the typical male is expected to actively seek his partners. By contrast, the typical female is allowed the luxury of having her suitors come to her. Since your bio states that you are seeking a domme in your area, you must realise that almost every domme on this site is going to be flooded with messages from eager male subs wanting to be played with, owned, or what-have-you. It may take some legwork on your part and a lot of time and patience to find what you're looking for. Chin up! It's not so bad as all that. It took me almost ten years to find the ideal woman after I had figured out (more-or-less) what I wanted, and another five to convince her to marry me. It was most assuredly worth the wait. [:)]

It means a lot of training, but I thought it was well worth it. Aside from perhaps not having the income to do business with a pro, I can't think of any big disadvantage to your age. Evan, I started the life about the time you did...and at 18, unless you are already involved in a circle of players, it can get hard, older women either figure your a dumb kid who doesn't know what you want, so don't take the kink seriously. My advice when you're courting a domme, is be a man, that has nothing to do with power, it has everything to show you know your own mind. If you're going on to school, look around campus, as was pointed out to me in private mails when I saddly made a comment about 'normal college students', there are a lot of women into the life there, on both ends of the whip. And while a young man can learn the world from an older woman, there ain't nothing wrong with praticing with folks your own age in the mean time.

My first Dominant I mean. So, in my mind there is no harm as long as you are of legal age, which you are. Many will consider you not trained...although they don't realize that is a blessing in disguise. Too young...much too young to know what you want out of life. What other excuses are there? I'm sure I could think of 50 most people would put up. So, to answer the question. Yes, there is issue with your young age. Also, no there is no issue with your young age. Just depends on whom you may be speaking to at the time.

My first experience was with a sub who was 16 years old. Before the police show up, at the time so was I. You are of legal age and assuming any partner you find will be the same I see no problem. Although I grew and stayed in the lifestyle for all these many years. Appreciate that your feelings can and most likely will change. Nothing to fear about it. But as time passes you may end up being a Dom or even a Master. Only your personal evolution will determine your ultimate path. I encourage you to enjoy your current experiences as an 18 year old. If you have come to the conclusion that right now this lifestyle is something you want to pursue -go for it - and enjoy it! Congratulations in your self awareness. Evadon My suggestion is to seek out some college munch groups if you are in college. Some Munches may have an age limit to 21 because of legal issue and some munches will meet at local bars. My best suggestion for you is to seek out local munches and yahoo groups in your area. The one problem you may have with yahoo is they are making it hard for you to search out these groups. Remember one thing I know from talking to some Domes they get swamped by players and wanabies so be polite and show her you want this. They meet so many guys who want a quickie and are not serious so take your time. This can turn off a domes desire to meet you so please do not show her pictures with you naked.

Evadon, Guys often approach me in their early to mid-20s. At 32, I’m just the right age for their 'older woman but not quite my mother’s age' fantasy it seems. My rule at the moment is –5 or +15 my age but those are guidelines as far as I see it. I’m going to give you the benefit of the doubt Evadon and consider that you are very serious in your search. However let me give you a little overview of what a lot of your peers are doing which might explain why you may find some resistance. In my experience, many younger men try and pick my brain with all sorts of questions from ‘why I am Domme’ to ‘what kind of dynamics I have experienced’, etc. Don’t get my wrong, all excellent questions to ask a potential, but often I feel that this is all I get from them, questions. And then they scurry off and think about all this and get nervous because taking a step as a submissive for real takes a lot of guts for some of these boys. Some were local guys who would chat with me online and every time I’d say, “so are we meeting for a coffee this week?” they’d come up with an excuse not to. Once was acceptable and twice they were cut off. I will not be used as a case study for their little naughty desires. I suggest that you read up on the different dynamics and techniques in BDSM if you haven’t already done so. Come up with an idea of what it is that you want in the dynamic (and be prepared for it to change a few times <grin>). A self-aware sub is always more interesting, at least for me. And if all possible, like many on this thread have suggested, try and meet people in person, and preferably people your own age. Good luck in your search, - LA

I just wanted to make a comment/question--would it be best for him to find a mentor because he is so young? My thought was that if he found someone his own age, they both would be newbies and maybe he wouldn't be able to experience much in this lifestyle. Maybe he could find a mentor in his local munch group. Evadon; 18 is not taboo (in most states[;)]). You just have to be legal. Enjoy your journey!! Sincerely, ann
