ORIGINAL: sweetboundesire its hilarious because your commenting about something you have no opinion of. It's like if I were to comment on Argentina's import and export trade....I did this paper in school when i was 16 but i really have no memory of it...lol Well, then SBD, you didn't read my post ... I talked about the visual. I talked about how it impacts on my life. How is that commenting on something I have no opinion of? My opinion is that it has helped me through some tough times and I respect and am grateful for it (perhaps I should have been more overt in the last part, but it seems obvious to me). I visit the Buddhist temples, and I've been to some Renaissance churches. They have something in common. When people couldn't read, the pictures told the story of their beloved leader. I love to look at the pix. The visual aspect of a religion often has a long history of being an important way the common people could experience the stories. From the comments on this thread, I'd say that while I may not comment on the philosophy, it certainly seems to have impacted me. So much of what is being said rings true as to how I live my life. Best, sunshine
